Graham dorrans

Has to play further up the park! I think he would ideally suit the role currently being occupied by miller or Pena.  I've played against graham growing up and he's always played further up the park apart from his later time in England.  He will get you goals and also has the ability to play that killer pass to Morelos.

While I agree to an extent, let's not get too lost in a few yards of pitch.

He's playing in the middle of the park and if I'm being honest, he's been a monumental anti-climax.

His two goals at Fir Park were an excellent introduction and last night's equaliser was a touch of class, but we're talking about a boy we've been passionately linked with since Walter Smith's time here and upon arrival, he hasn't demonstrated the capabilities of a guy who's well-versed in the bright lights of the English Premier League.

We need much, much more from him. Dropping the shoulder and cutting back to get away from an opponent ten times per-match in your own half is fine, but we need more creativity.

The same applies to Alves.

Maybe if he was allowed to do that 20/30/40 yards up the pitch he would give us that creativity. That's the whole reason people are 'getting lost in a few yards of pitch'. Those few yards may be the difference between him dropping the shoulder and turning away from a striker on our 18 yard box and making a 5 yard pass or dropping the shoulder and turning away from a holding midfielder 20/30 yards from goal and slipping a ball through to Morelos or having a shot on goal.

Those 'few yards of pitch' might just make all the difference in Dorran's case!

We need someone like Steven Davis in our team, the only two in my eyes that are capable are dorrans and possibly under some major miracle transformation Pena. I genuinely thought Pena was going to be the type to unlock defences.

I agree though with dorrans I'd tell him not to come too deep.use his energy for attacking. It might leave us open at points but if we can't hold off Patrick then we are in trouble.

I would give Jordan Rossitter a game and let Dorrans take Millers place .

Agreed I said the same thing last night. Dorrans is far too deep and Miller starting is like being a man down and Pena doesn't look much better.

I think we do have makings of a decent team but it's clear some things are not working and need changing, perhaps the most worrying thing is the fact everyone can see it except Pedro.

Dorrans plays deeper now, I'm not sure if it's by choice or because he doesn't have the legs he used to after injuries or whatever, but somebody who knew that said that on here when we were initially linked with him and everybody was talking about how he would en a great attacking midfielder for us.
