Got locked out of this match.

Aye Bordeaux. Was one of my first games against a foreign team, albeit it was a friendly. Second strip I ever got too, after the home one from the time.

That was good. A bit strange listening to all those ex-cellick players singing his praises though.

More respectful times between players. Probably between fans too.

That was Hugn Adam on the far right. The guy who told us Murray was running us into the ground in 2002. Like so many others since we called them "fenian b.......ds"  etc and stuck our heads in the sand

An extract from his statement  " If Rangers continue on their present track, their ultimate destination will be bankruptcy."  "That’s the logical conclusion to a strategy that incurs serious loss year on year," . "In the past five years - and it’s all there in the last annual report - Rangers have lost 80 million. "Now, the banks are well known for being a bit more tolerant of companies whose core business is a popular pursuit like football. But there is a limit to how far backwards they can bend to accommodate you. and yet in 2012 he was still getting slaughtered even on here In fact a poll on here from 2012 - Hugh Adams is a Cunt who went in huff at losing job got a vote of 85.23 %

Remember that game well. Was in Milan the Wednesday before watching us play Inter.

1-0 against Dundee Utd - Ian Ferguson scoring just before ht.

top right is John McClelland who’s in a huff due to a contract dispute. He was sold soon after

Don54 posted previously about the Bordeaux game-this is from the programme.

Was this type of tribute unusual from our biggest rival?

I can't remember seeing anything like it before but at boardroom level I think it was a lot different than it is now

As much a part of Glasgow,
As the famous River Clyde,
Stands an Institution,
Built on Loyalty, Dignity and Pride,

The red brick facade,
Flanked by imposing gates,
Beyond lies the field of dreams,
Where immortality awaits,
The masses come from near and far,
Full of hope and loud of voice,
Singing songs of who they are,
Born that way - not just through choice,
In these times of trouble,
"We will fight till the day is won"
The Union Flag a symbol of our struggle,
And its colours will never run,
Like my fathers before me,
Brethren stand side by side,
We are the Institution,
Built on Loyalty, Dignity and Pride,
They may demand our silence,
We will sing louder than before,
They may ban our Flag,
We will wave them higher and make more,
From the shipyard gates to the highest steeple,
As God is my witness,
We Are The Rangers....
We ARE The People !
