In the summer, by in large he was deemed not good enough and most wouldn't have blinked if he left. With every signing we make most people believe he will fall further down the pecking order. Even now I think there will be many who deem him not good enough. That's fine, it's all about opinions. However, what character he has. He has been written off so many times yet still comes back and produces big performances for us. IMO he will never be a great player, but equally he'll probably never get the credit he deserves. He's a very solid player to have but on his day can be very good and very influential IMO.
