Playing Devils Advocate here but what are fans doing carrying knives about?

Fight back fair enough but getting a knife out?

Maybe to protect themselves as police Scotland are useless and  as usual arrive after it all happened then ask for witness  ?  But seriously I agree they should not be carrying knives,  ffs it's a game of football and cunts getting stabbed ?  We don't want that or need that at Ibrox,

The police can deal with 7000 of the mhanky mob yet a bus load of their fans, as that's all that came ran amok and that's how the trouble started.  Just maybe if they treated them the way we get treated by police abroad and when we even play away in Scotland then this would not have happened.  .

Meanwhile the police are parked up at the stadium in case of a terriost attack ?, it time edminston drive from the lights to the roundabout was made into a walkway and only team coaches and people on foot can enter it as you could easily use Paisley road west ,

Police Scotland need held to account as they have learnt nothing after the Hibs Scottish cup final, its simple put their fans somewhere and tell them they are their until x amount if time and then escort them to the game then this does not happen.

I’d be amazed if we somehow got the blame for this.

These cunts and their tarrier pals went looking for a fight and got their faces plastered all over PRW.

The Croatians and most of the Eastern European countries house proper football hooligans where they value the fighting off the park more than the result on it. It would quite literally sum up this media to defend a Croatian mob over us in this scenario

We are getting the blame for it.

Came into work and my boss (a neutral. He's English and a Newcastle fan who actually wants Gerrard to do well) says immediately to me "is it the done thing for Rangers fans to just fight everybody now?"

If guys like that are saying shit like that this PR battle is already lost

Ffs, that’s genuinely brutal. It’s ridiculous it’s got to this stage.

See being honest if they've gone swanning down prw looking for a scrap they may have bumped into the local young team who are known to be holding at times. Looks like it was near the big block of flats the young team frequent.

Loads of over reactions.  No one even knows the full story. Well just be fed lines and propaganda from the Roman Catholic brigade.  No one should be stabbing anyone but I’ll not be taught any morals by paedophile appeasers/harbourers.

we played shkupi and progres and no trouble like that- I’d be inclined to say the Croatian mob came spoiling for a fight and they got one. Unfortunately 2 fans have been stabbed but you reap what you sow

PR battle was lost on this one by the late news last night.

Was simply a riot that we started.

to be fair mate, attack is the best form of defence and it seems they were asking for it.

Team handed running at you , you either fight or get your cunt kicked in and you have a split second to make that choice, as you said attack is the best form  of defence but disgusted it was allowed to unfold.  Kids the lot would have been walking down PRW when this happened and the Croats never gave a flying fuck

Ffs come to Glasgow , get pissed and shake hands. with bear fans.

For anyone that has people blaming us - this is the fans at 2 of their European away games last year doing the exact same. Why Police Scotland could not figure out there was going to be trouble started by OSIJEK FANS is beyond me...arseholes

Rangers fans did not start this. The Croats came looking for a bit of bovver and  ended up on the wrong side of it.  These were idiots armed with knives wanting to fight and kick off among folk just wanting to have a good time (and some with kids). Violence isn't good especially at football matches but what is the alternative - thousands of Rangers supporters stampeding to run away? It's good that Bears stood up and kicked the shit out of them.

The club should be asking questions of the police and publicly, the tarriers did it when the Ajax fans came to Glasgow and they set about them in the gallowgate pubs ,   The police are their to protect the fans it happened a coup,e of hundred yards from the stadium ffs

We will never get a fair and balanced report from Scottish 'journalists'. The club should be questioning the policing of the away support and seeking assurances as to future arrangements. You could be forgiven for thinking this was allowed to happen and they thought Rangers fans would get leathered. It was a win/win for them.

Still to see any concrete evidence thst the rammy at the weekend was anything to do with Rangers fans. Didn't see any colours in the film or pictures. Didn't stop them making the link unlike their 'suspects wearing green' shite when its them.

was the same after the wigan game. i seen the headline late on monday which said " violance after Rangers vs wigan game " which to me more or less said Rangers fans were fighting with wigan fans,  then you seen the clip and not a football top in sight and the words football fans mentioned.  could have been anyone but nope made out to be the big bad Rangers fans

It's funny how when the Tarriers have had scuffles in Europe and Glasgow the "Foreign Agiatators" have got the blame, with Ajax it was "Dutch Thugs on the Rampage". I would say it slightly down to the fact they cunts took second prizes so the victim game was easier to play but probably more to do with the fact the Scottish Media are Tarrier loving scum.

I wish people would stop assuming that our fans were carrying blades.

The Eastern Europeans have that kind of reputation as both the police and mhedia know, but who gets the blame for the violence? We do.

If the Osijek fans were so anxious to see the game then where the fuck were they in the first half?

I'm sure Ibrox/Cessnock has improved markedly since she moved away. Lived in Ibrox Street for a few years and never had much of a problem. With the Tall Cranes and the Govan Arms, the Job Centre etc, Govan is a haven for tarriers, she'll fit right in.

What number in Ibrox Street mate? I was brought up in number 40 back in the 50’s, fond memories  :tu:
