He will do a job for us you cant deny that.  And frankly I have quickly gotten over McGregor coming back, due to his obvious ability. So this is what it is.

Welcome back Kyle lafferty. RM loves you.

And maybe 55 needs you.

Been so alone, my love without you
You're part of everything we do
When you come back, and you're beside us
These are the words we'll sing to you

Welcome home, welcome
Come on in, and close the door
You've been gone, too long
 Welcome, you're home once more

I thought of all the things we'd say to you
When you come back to us someday
When you are here and we're together
With all my heart you'll hear me say

Welcome home, welcome
Come on in, and close the door
You've been gone, too long
Welcome, you're home once more

There are so many bitter people
Why must they ever be apart
I know someday we'll be together
Singing these words with all your heart

Welcome home, welcome
Come on in, and close the door
You've been gone, too long
Welcome, you're home once more
(Welcome home)

He's not a very good footballer, he's a clown of a person, he fucked us over in vividly recent memory and we should be looking forwards anyway, not backwards. That said, he's here now, he seems to have improved his form against the filth, he has something to prove to the fans and he knows what it is to win with Rangers, so I hope he proves me wrong.

Don't really care tbh as long as he batters in a few goals for us.

We've had too many lean years now to be bothered or all mock offended about who, or what religion or colour they are, that is scoring all the goals as long as there are plenty of them.

This place sometimes ?

I don’t actually mind that we’ve re-signed him, and I think he will do ok for us, but the way he’s being treated like some sort of returning hero is bizzare.

It’s not like he was one of our best players of the time period the last time he was here. He was an inconsistent middle of the road player who ultimately never lived up to his potential or the money we invested in him.

Couldny gie a fuck about the past. The future's all that matters.

Welcome. Score some goals and win us the league.

My sentiments exactly, clearly this was always going to be controversial. He made a mistake (ridiculously big one at that) and for some he will always be toxic which I can respect, however if SG can get him playing the way he obviously believes he can do, he will only be a positive moving forward...

That'll annoy some folk Coops?..........don't know why Lafferty is hated more than the others who wouldn't tupe over, yes I know he could have performed better 1st time round but he was over-shadowed by Jelavic, hopefully he's older and wiser these days.He won't get away wi sh**e under Gerrard's leadership so score the goals and prove the haters wrong big lad?

You obviously haven't watched the videos of the goals he scored at the end of the seasons he was here or the goal he scored against the taigs a couple weeks ago

As long as he's not shite the vast majority of fans will take to him no bother. Same way they have Shagger.
