Glen Kamara

Unusually on match day a positive 'individual player' thread.

Some rockets on here recently saying he looked a 50k player, absolute morons.

We have a 24 Year Old Finnish internationalist 'worth 50k' who held his own and then some against a midfield of players whose values range from 5 to 28 million EACH.

Boy shows great composure, fights for everything and rarely gives possession away....... 24 and a long way to go.  Great investment.

Another who will flourish under Gerrard.

Had a tough shift last night and never relented. Hardly a foot wrong. The ability is there and will just get better

Let’s not forget his awareness and athleticism for the goal line clearance...

I was thinking he was one of our weaker players last night too.

Moments of class but he is prone to the odd slip. Regardless one for the future and a steal at that price

First half when we weren't firing on all cylinders he stood out in our midfield.

He was slack a couple of times last night but you can't fault his desire to get on the ball in tight spot or his desire to win it back when he does lose it.

Good performance last night .

I don't mind him losing the ball, if he gets it back, and he does. He's calm and collected and always willing to take it in and that creates space for others like Kent or Barker.  it's also freeing up Jack to move further forward, and get a few goals and create.

Along with Goldson and Morelos last night I thought Kamara was superb, fair enough he did make a couple of mistakes, but apart from shagger there wasn't a player who didn't make a mistake on that park

He flapped a wee bit at the one Kamara cleared off the line.

When Morelos is back heading balls out of his own area and Kamara is clearing  balls off the line then, we're  a team.

ALL GAVE SOME AND SOME FACE ALL.

NO SURRENDER GLEN KAMARA

Management  were well impressed toward the end when he was battling for and winning the ball back..

Gerrard's tactics against a very good football playing team looked a bit off as they played initially with great skill and expertise, took us 20 minutes to adjust the midfield and get a hold on the game, but Kamara got better and stayed strong as game progressed.  Will be  a huge confidence boost for him, and may now be seeing a player who the manager has great hopes for.

At this stage he is probably still one of Gerrard's ' "horses for courses" players, and could have been a mare early on, but  ended up a  thoroughbred performance.

Was excellent in the second half, dithers a bit too much on the ball at times ,but stepped up like the rest of the players

defence looked solid, midfield poor first half great second, Alfredo some player

brandon barker? Never know why he started offers absolutely nothing

He started because he played well in the away game. Did very little last night

His twist/turn/shimmy works for him 9 times out of 10. Looks great and often gets us out of tight spaces. 1 in 10 though he gets caught, and it causes us danger. Last night we got away with it, previously we havent, and he needs to try to find a way to cancel that risk.

He is a snip a 50k, and last night he was a good shout for motm. A very good performance. I think he's really growing into the stature needed from a Rangers midfielder, especially in europe.

His work in tight areas with short sharp passes is superb and he’s not shy to tackle
