It goes on to say that if teams are not able to take part in games that FIFA have said they will forfeit. Surely that would be the team hosting? But with different countries having differing stances on travel to and from, is that a given? The tone of the article seems to suggest us missing out,, unless its just missing out on playing the game they mean. Having read that, there is no grey areas, If the UK prevented any of our Clubs travelling to a host country, then by virtue of the fact they did not fulfill that fixture, then they would be out of the competition. That is the way I read it. Of course that would be equally the same the other way round. Europe this season is going to be a complete shambles by the looks of it, I didn't appreciate just what a tangled mess it could become. Nightmare! Not sure if it's the same for other comps but I think the rules for Nations League showed that UEFA can look to reschedule the match so Scotland won't necessarily get 3 points awarded.
