Balogun will do for me. He's played there before for Brighton and in Germany. Just a case of him getting up to speed again with that position, but he seems quite versatile.

Listened to his interview the other night, and he seems like a great character that knows what it's all about. Good professional that can only be good for the team spirit.

I think we have enough options in the squad to comfortably cover the rb position until Tav recovers. Talk of Hutton coming back seems ridiculous to me.

We really don't actually. Balogun at RB means only Simpson as backup for the entire back 4....

Assuming Patterson is classed as a first team squad player, we must have a boy playing RB for the U21s.

Don't follow our youngsters that closely to be honest but there must be more than Tavernier and Patterson listed as RBs on our books.

Give the kid a chance FFS.

Patterson has played RB for the B team whenever they have had a game this season.

Think the next RB would be Adam Devine. He’s 17. Don’t think I’ve seen him play.

We don't have a U21s now. Next RB in the youth team is a 17 year old kid.

Don't think the kids have played for months either....

Would take a free signing weeks to get into some sort of fitness then another few weeks to get used to the way we play.

May aswell give one of our kids a shot if really needed. Already fit, know the system etc.

Still think Balogun will do a job and then depending on the Patterson suspension.

What suspension?

Don't accept any SFA punishment until they sort out Celtic/Dubai and Duffy playing after returning on a scheduled plane!

Then tell Patterson you'll break his 2 legs if he does it again!

The upcoming SFA suspension.

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you happy. Not happening in the real world.

The obvious possible would be Leon King who is part of the first team bubble, not his preferred position but has played there on occasions.

Any academy player not out on loan has been on furlough for a number of weeks so would not have been training.

The one right back would be Adam Devine, he doesn't turn 18 till March so probably a bit too soon for him.

There are two 19 year olds, who although nominally centre-backs have played at right back on occasions, Harris O'Connor and Kyle McClelland. Harris has probably played at full back more than Kyle and has also played a number of games at left back.

But as I said they haven't trained since the latest lock down started.

Patterson, irrespective of any SFA punishment will not be playing another game for us this season, and that's if he's lucky. Gerrard seems raging, and rightly so. :headwall:
