Will Gary Mac be Rangers manager one day?

Very possibly Thermo.

He has an impressive CV so I wouldn't rule him out if Stevie Gerrard leaves for Liverpool in the next few seasons. He gets us which is a big plus in his favour if he threw his hat in the ring for the job.

The good thing is we will have had a good long time to look at him before making an appointment and that is big advantage

I'm not sure he would want it. He seems happier in the background as a #2.

Could u really live with yourself if u had turned it down because u would just never know if u could have been a big part of history and talked about in the same breath as the likes of struth and smith

He could also take the job and be a massive flop so works both ways

He was a Leeds legend as a player and took the job as a manager only to get sacked in his second season. I think he learned from that. He works well with Gerrard and would probably follow him when Gerrard leaves.

Beale on the other hand would jump at the chance imo.

Taking up first team management in his 50’s for the first time?

maybe enjoys being a no.2 whilst can concentrate on just coaching and putting his ideas across.

Just seen from someone else he was Leeds manager before, so not his first time.

would still be surprised if he became a manager at this stage of his life though.

That's a good point the chemistry has to work and it's worth hanging onto it when it does
