The thing is though we have to get recruitment spot on early. Ross Wilson really has to earn his money and should be on it right now. We also have to come back for pre season early and play difficult pre season games, not "glamour" ones against real madrid or whoever just to sell tickets. Play teams who are already in their season, get our team up to speed as soon as possible. This is potentially the most important pre season we will ever have and if we get it right then we can go some way to making up for the total cunt we have made of this one. Ross Wilson is about to prove his worth one way or the other, the signs arent good admittedly but lets just hope he actually does know what he is doing. Sets us back years and anyone thinking any differently needs to open their eyes We won't get there with this team, at least four or five of them haven't got the minerals to play Champions League, fuck they can't even make the final of a domestic cup, we need players who can handle playing for Rangers when it matters, clear out in the summer and only then if we are lucky we might make it. Gifting them 30million+ because we didn't have the correct attitude and mindset to deliver 56. They where a shite show in the first few months of the season hadn't won in 5 back to back away games to start the season. Champions - straight in unless CL winner doesn’t get qualification via their league! In that scenario they go into the play offs! 2nd - Would start in Q2, as I say unless Barca or Leipzig win it then we’re in Q3. Unless Russia/Ukraine are still out then we could get bumped up regardless! We’ve only just secured 9th in the country coefficients when we beat Red Star, which gives us direct entry (regardless of winners) and the second placed team entering at Q3! That’s for season 23/24! Huge task Guys like Tav, Goldson, Aribo, Kent, Barasic, and probably a few more need to go if we're to change the mindset, McGregor is done and add in Davis too, might not get replacement players in with the same ability but it won't be hard to find bigger heart and tougher mind set imo.
