Do we now have other options available?

Plenty players got away with more than others. Do you think Gary Bollan got to do the shit Gascoigne got away with?

No, so something significant must have happened.

Morelos is no Paul Gascoigne. And it’s changed days now.

What has red cards from 4/5 years ago got to do with it? Didn’t stop 16 million pound bids being placed. He was a fucking idiot on Saturday and there is no defending him but bringing up red cards from that long ago to have a go is bizarre.

Also, when things are going well nobody brings up his league record.

It's not bizarre at all it's relevant because he hasn't learned from 4/5 years ago.

He's not stupid at all, the only stupid person here is the clown who has shafted the club yet again with his poor behaviour

right, and. Fact of the matter is Gio picks the squad and is willingly going in to the biggest game in over a decade with 1 recognized striker, leaving out the club record european goalscorer for a poor attitude. bench him and at least he is an option for injury/cards. come back, boot his baws in when 30m isn't riding on the line.

So what has changed from when he gave the generic puff quotes earlier this month to today?

Clearly something otherwise the manager wouldn’t feel the need to drop him

Colak has hit form which has maybe put his nose out of joint , a sending off which has cost us a vital 3 points and him not being brought onto the field at all last week in a home European tie where we needed as much goals as we could muster

so quite a lot has happened and changed in public viewing in just over a month. Behind the scenes we can only really guess

It's not even our biggest game of 2022.

No one knows what’s happened behind closed doors, what if it’s something that means he couldn’t have kept him in the squad?

What precedent are you setting that you get away with it because it’s a big game? And Morleos looks miles off being ready to contribute against PSV.

Its had to come out on the eve of a £30m game?

Of course it had to come out the day before the game as soon as he doesnt travel to Eindhoven. Cant keep that secret so needed yo be explained. The alternative was to take him with the squad with no intention of playing him but the management team appear to have assessed that that would be worse.

What is it that you're suggesting?

That there's more to it than vague 'fitness/attitude' concerns.

It appears so...and if that is what has happened, why hide hide behind 'fitness/attitude concerns'

Perhaps they don’t want to come out and say he was pie eyed at training on Monday (if it’s true)?

Value is depreciating enough without adding issues with alcohol into it.

How about you provide us with proof that things haven't changed since you seem to know?

What are you slavering about? I've not once said things haven't changed since then but I'm not buying the vague nonsense about fitness and attitude. It would seem there's been some sort of incident between Morelos/Gio rather than simply dropping him because we think he's not fit enough yet and isn't working as hard as we want. You don't pull contract talks with someone over that - especially when they can open talks with clubs in a little over three months.

I think it's more a point of, we thought you were past that, Saturday was a throwback to early Morelos which has hampered his progression.

If he slips back into that frame of mind he'll just continue to hinder himself.

We all know he should have more than just one notable bid made for him, but he's not for the reasons he's mentioned.

The whole team should have had notable bids for them and haven’t though, it’s not just Morelos.

He’s had a go in another tweet about his strike rate being better in Europe than domestically and that being an attitude problem. He like the whole team perform and do much better in Europe than domestically.

'internal disciplinary issues' or say he's picked up a knock.

Unless of course if taking him with the squad was going to have a negative effect on the rest of the players. We are not privi to the details so dont know what the other players reaction would have been if he was in the squad.
