Xhaka's dad was likely arrested by, tortured by and jailed by Kosovo Albanian communists, not Serbs. Still, the Serbs gave Albanians plenty of reasons to hate then in the 90s, so it's understandable he/the media overlook that. None of the ethnic nationalists of the SFRY come out of history particularly well, perhaps apart from the Slovenes? We've discussed this before but shelling Dubrovnik was the Ratners moment for Serbia. Oh and it helps to have your particular organisation backed by the CIA.
