Good call. The much lauded Chinese World Champion has never happened yet. The fact Ding hasn't won it by this stage of his career suggests he perhaps doesn't have a strong enough mindset for it.
The law of averages alone would suggest a Chinese player WILL win it at some point and Si Jiahui does look good in bursts.
In saying that he's already 4-2 down to Jak Jones as I type!

Strange tournament so far with so many seeds going out. It could be opening up for Ronnie's 8th, which he more than deserves, but Trump and Allen will have something to say about that.
God forbid Ronnie doesn't win it but if not Mark Allen for me.

Strange feeling today. Desperately want to win but not sure I could handle a pumping off those cunts in the final. PC really needs to find a way to motivate them but I think we all agree that might not be possible with this squad.

Been giving this crumbling under pressure some thought. I can get my head around feeling like that against the scum but why do they go into games feeling pressure against fucking Ross Co and Dundee!? Surely we have the beating of these guys 9 times out of 10.
Just play your game and beat them FFS. Why do they possibly think downing tools against them is a good idea?
I find it so frustrating and fucking baffling to be honest.
