We aren't in European competition at the moment and just had a week off... not exactly the same.

People blaming a manager who has dragged a squad of utter shite, riddled with injury prone wage thiefs, to the brink of a title race that was lost in the first month of the season are seriously deluded and need help. You have no idea, and neither do I, of whether Sterling etc were even fit enough to start or what happens behind closed doors. Clement is only human, he makes mistakes,  but even he can't change the mentality of the bottlers in this side.

I seen players like Kent and Morelos completely chuck it or lose the head in positions like today so it’s a step forward.  Silva won us the pen to get us back in the game so focusing on today only, he got us right back in the game.  Jury is out on whether we should try and keep him for next season (if it’s even an option).

Say what you want but he kept going today and never hid.  Won us the pen and drove us right up the park for our disallowed goal.  Almost ghosted in to score just before half time too.  I’m not a fan of his antics rolling around but he never hid today and kept going.

Alternatively - play our best team and get the job done. Then take our best players off for a rest after they have done their job.

If we are being fair - Johnstone 100% touches the ball. Very lucky boy to escape red though, catching someone knee high is a yellow 9 times out of 10 and changes the complexion of the game.

He's unsuited to all football that isn't of the Dutch mid-table variety apparently!
If he'd had a good career up until now then we could put it down to a miss-match of club/league but there's obviously a reason he's failed at PSV, Atlanta, Frankfurt, Empoli, Sampdoria and now Rangers!
Some of those clubs fans (Frankfurt for one) genuinely hated him aswell.
Hopefully his good form convinces some deluded mugs (maybe another European version of Michael Beale who sees potential in him) to part ways with £3.5m+ for him.

Baffles me when people refer to him as an option on RW. Every key moment he has had is coming from left and cutting on to right incl those 2 goals, left wing is where he belongs. Never looked good on right.
Great moment for him. Him on left, sima on right gives us sheer pace on both sides. Hopefully he can kick on.
