Horrible result from what could have been but ffs shitebag tactics ? We took the game to them and if it wasn’t for a badly called offside decision then we go into the break 4-2 ahead. Dreadful defending, and sloppy second half does not make the managers tactics shitebag ha ha it’s no like he tried to park the bus at 3-2 up.

im gutted and disappointed to fuck but come on that’s ridiculous

we took the game to them until we scored then sat back until they scored, we never looked like playing for the win, we sat back after every goal and that is what cost us the game, I don't see how folk can't see that

the manager said before the game he expected more aggression from them but certainly didn't show it with his tactics

they won cause they got two goals in a short period but they should never have equalised to begin with but we let them

Fantastic pass for the goal. Admittedly that’s the first pass he’s made that found a blue shirt in a few games

Maybe accounted for by the fact we WEREN’T playing in blue shirts.....

He's been targeted in these games more than once because it's painfully obvious that he isn't a left back.

At this point Gerrard is just hanging him out to dry by continuing to play him there.

Agreed.

Playing against us I'd be puting decent winger up against him, and getting midfield told to look to play ball between him and the CH whenever possible.  Guaranteed success.

And decent crosses from that side to our right back area is a good bet too.

One deflected off Goldson and another he kicked in his own net going for it with the wrong foot ?

One Flanagan get ripped a new one for the boy to cross the first, second Flanagan just lets the same cunt run past him to put the call in, third flanagan actually just gives the ball away in the build up to the goal.   There are other people to blame aswell but if Flanagan does his job properly they don’t score three of their goals.

Some of the managers decisions regarding team selections baffle me.and if when he picks his team and certain players are not at it as he says if he doesn't get them off quick smart and we lose the points or the game because of it then he won't be a success.he needs to show more balls and make subs earlier when certain players are letting him and the team down.

Flannigan's defending is worse. Tav's defending is underrated or more accurately over-criticised. He can get caught out of position at times but that's usually due to being up the pitch attacking and to be fair he can't be in two places at once. When he actually is asked to defend he's usually okay. Not brilliant but nowhere near as bad as some would have you believe.

Totally disagree. His concentration is almost purely on attacking and his defending skills are woeful. He either making his way back to defend or, he is unable to hassle a player off the ball or make one make decisions. When did you last see him be square on, one on one with an opposition attacker? Also, WTF is he doing at one of our left sided corners, shouting something at Middleton about to take it? Out of position when it was taken. Absolute pish.

Last night. Stopped a few crosses coming in.

He's been on the left for corners and Halliday on the right for the past few games (obviously Halliday never started last night). I'm assuming this is an instruction from Gerrard so every corner is an in-swinger.

Gerrard cost us the game as he can seem to see what's going on in front of him.

This, he isn,t learning and continually makes the same errors of judgement, whether its player selection or substitutions, his decision making is woeful. Like every Rangers man I want him to succeed but I,m losing faith.

He's just not very good at anything to do with football, looks like someone you'd play against on a Sunday morning pub league.

Offers nothing going forward and not much in defence.

Hopefully off the books soon.

A few more awful performances and it'll be like Russell Martin again
