Has to be next year so it has to be £10-12million on 3-4 quality players.

A side of

McGregor

Tav Goldson (new cb) barisic???

Arfield Jack new CM

new winger Morelos Kent

Fod, Katic, Halliday, Kamara, Defoe, McCrorie as subs/ squad players probably is enough.

We need quality, if we don’t you can honestly forget it

Kamara is the best centre mid in the squad but agree mostly with the rest. If Barisic stays fit he should be the man for that position but there's still question marks about him. And doubt Morelos will be here

In response to the OP, the board should be targeting Police Scotland and the PF to have the scum answer to their covering up of heinous crimes for decades and ensure that we do the same as the scum did and have the scum horsed down a few leagues in addition to massive fines and to have them banned from recruitment for a minimum of 10 years.

Nothing less than this will suffice.

I'm pretty sure King or mini published an article early doors in their tenure about a five year plan (maybe someone smarter than me can dig it up) for the title and I was fucking raging at the time to have to wait five years. I think King hits four years next March going into year five, so he may actually be on track.

Sure there have been disappointments along the way with poor managers and poor buys, but where we have come from and every hating cunt in the land putting hurdles in front of us, I'm not too disappointed on reflection, but next season is the last chance saloon for this board or it's rebellion.

He took over four years ago this March B A (2015), so his five year plan needs to work next season, and then we will see the tarriers falling like a deck of cards. :hmmm:

I don’t know what state the club was like on the inside when king took control but right now we atleast have players that hate losing. You can tell by this teams reaction to a narrow defeat at park head with 10 men compared to last seasons abomination losing heavily and the lack of fight in those teams.  We lack quality there’s no doubt but we have something to build on now.

with regards the latest sfa carry on the board will do and say nothing. It’s quite unfortunate as we’ve already seen the bigot and their board issue statements about how brown is exemplary and a great man and the charge will be contested robustly.  Our board have  a lot still to learn and for the life of me I can’t understand they are so reactionary whereas Timothy is always proactive.

Our chicken shit board will do nothing.

Unless it directly affects king.

You going to ante up and put your money where your mouth is ?? I admit the board have got things geared in their favour. But have you got 20 or 30 mil spare to just buy quality?

They may not like losing but they better start making a fucking song and dance about winning big games

Even after the OF  win at Ibrox . There was a look about the players, of we better keep this in check . We better not go round the pitch as if we have won the league today .

I'm of the belief . We need, to have the old 9 in a row players attitude . Celebrate, like it's a great GIFUY to the opposition and get in everyone's faces including the other fans .

If the scum can do it without reproach , then we better start doing it ourselves .

And going back to the players that don't like losing . There are quite a few of them , I would think seem to have got used to losing. Judging by their demeanor  . They have been their that often

My point is wealth is relevant. A grand to you is 100 grand to someone with money like king. So you going to ante up ten grand? If the cash ain't there you can't spend it. That's how we ended up in the shit before. Ps as for me being called a rocket. Fly me to the moon .

Must admit, there's not a lot that moves Dave and that includes laxative.

I do find him and the board neglectful in protecting our corporate reputation. The attacks on our name are fucking non stop, far less the fucking double standards, cheating by another name, by officialdom. Beggars belief where I sit.

On the plus side, I am rather hopeful on the investment this summer, so fingers crossed.

Plans are only words, numbers, diagrams and the like on paper.    The extent to which plans - credible, incredible, grand, modest, ambitious or just sales pitch etc - come to actual fruition as intended depends to a large extent on contact with reality of business / commercial / football life.    As Eisenhower once said ….."in preparing for battle I have always found that plans are useless, but planning is indispensable."

Wonder if Dave King will still be Chairman when it comes to the 150the anniversary in 2022?    If it became clear to him that he and his Board were not able to provide enough transfer budget cash for Gerrard to build a title winning side before then, or if no trophies before then, I wonder how prepared he'd be to be Chairman of  the Club with a nice shiny refurbished updated Ibrox…...but no trophies and no league title since 2010/11.     To be regarded as a successful Chairman even allowing for the circumstances of his coming to take control of the Club he is, imo, going to have to find a way to find enough transfer funding for Gerrard to get the quality of player we need to win a title.    That must surely be fundamental to his plan......and his planning.

I bet @JamieD and @Inigo have that much, the rich bastards

Jamie's a socialist, so he gave it away. Penniless. Not a pot to piss in.

I'm a champagne socialist and I don't keep the champagne topped up by financing Bordersbear's Baldrick-esque ideas.
