NixonRFC 1,337 Posted March 5, 2020 Share Posted March 5, 2020 Firstly I'm going to say I don't think it's ever a bad idea to show your support for a manager when he's going through a hard time, we talk about loyalty a lot and the word loyal is synonymous with this Football Club, even guys I've lost all faith in like McLeish, McCoist and Caixinha, I've found myself urging them on in games despite the fact I've known their time was up. The problem I've got with this Gerrard applause is how contrived it is, I've no problem backing a manager or player when it happens naturally or organically but organised support just feels so fake, you're then forcing fons to make a conscious decision and it can easily devide folk.
