I'd be sad to see him go but it's probably time. A lot of highs but far too many lows. He's among the common denominators when it comes to our capitulations in the league and the cups.

Someone on FF saying Kevin Nisbet was in the Members Lounge last night with his agent.
Oh dear.

I like him.
Most of our playing squad have mentally checked out.
He's one of the few I can see pushing on and being successful with us with better players and attitudes around him.

Pressure off and playing like prime Rangers......
Nothing surer.

He'd have been sold for that amount regardless.
Knowing our board, I'm not so sure.

If we'd won the league this year, we wouldn't need to worry about selling Butland, but if someone is silly enough to offer £21m for him, I'd be astounded if we weren't all over that. That plugs any sort of financial gap with a fair bit left over to kick start this rebuild.
Also, please open the transfer forum, Admin. I'm already done with this season.

Facing each stand starting with main stand, the players would acknowledge the support with a wave and then go about their warm up and pre-match high fives etc
This was a great sign of togetherness and team spirit, which we seem to have lost in recent years.
Should we be looking to bring this type of preamble back to give the support the chance to cheer the team, to give our team the lift that the over promoted huddle does for the opposition?
Could do mate, but I don't think waving at the fans is going to turn Lundstram, Wright, Goldson, Dessers, Barasic, etc into good footballers.

We need good players. Simple as that.

One game closer to Clement being allowed to purge the mediocrity from this squad.
Hope he siezes the opportunity, because if the guts if this squad are still here next season, they'll most definitely be seeing him out the door.

Our goal annoys me too. Where the fuck was that desire and determination before? Do this team need to be 1 or 2 goals down before they decide to actually give a fuck?

I genuinely hope that's the last we've seen of Lundstram. He's so fucking bang average but somehow is a mainstay in that team. One of the weakest links we have.

Looks very strong from that video. Holds off opponents very well.
On the flip side though, looks like he'll be dishing out regular heart attacks to supporters with his attempts to turn attackers in defence.

Not if we win 3 or 4 nil mate. We put 4 in the back of their net at Ibrox albeit one was disallowed. Just need to not concede any on Saturday as well as repeat the goals scored and we’re flying imo

Armstrong would offer more than Wright/McCausland.
Would sign.

The requirement is a win. Nothing else will do. But I fear this team just doesn't have it in them.

I wouldn't sign Shankland now.
Wanting Shankland in was very much a product of the circumstances of the time. We needed somebody in January to come in, understand the league, understand the job required and - most importantly - have the best possible chance of hitting the ground running. Shankland and maybe Miovski were the only 2 players who fitted that mould, and IMHO Shankland was most likely to fulfill that role.
Lack of goal threat, due to injury and personnel has been maybe the main reason we look to have blown the league. Dessers being unreliable and having no serious competition is part of that.
However, time moves on and the Shankland ship has sailed. We don't need him now.
Given it is a summer window, and we have the luxury of some time with going into a new season - there will be better options out there, and for better value.
Always felt like Shankland was a 'now or never' signing in Jan.

Our other strikers don’t even get the chances to miss.
Danilo was the same at the start of the season. Some absolute howlers.
Seemed to be a lot better at just having the ball at his feet than Dessers though.
100% need a quality starting striker in the summer once Roofe and (I hope) Dessers leave.

Without his goals we don't win.
Without his outrageous misses, we win a lot more.

Goldson, ability-wise, isn't all that bad. If he had a quality left-sided CB partner, we may actually do a lot better.
His main issue is that fragile mentality that's been displayed so many times over the years.
When he's part of the so-called "leadership group", that's a major fucking problem.
