im not worried one bit, we have all said this season about how stale our play is, we need to change it etc, this could turn out to be a good thing for us, could give us a boost for the second half of the season.  new tactics etc. 
 
we have a good squad of players, with the right appointment we could kick on.  Gerrard came in and done a good job and left us with a decent team with good valuation. 
with the right appointment iit could get better. 

There’s literally no time for a bit of thought… Ross Wilson needs to have been doing his job and have a list of potential candidates ready to approach for interview the minute this announced! 

Kent will be the only one he’ll look at. There’s no way Morelos will be anywhere near a move to the Premiership 

On the bright side at least we won't have to listen to that awful impressionist.

We were 1-0 up at home against ten men for 45mins against malmo and still got knocked out. He ain't no tactical genius. If he goes, he goes. 

We were already supposed to be operating a player trading model.
We need to get back to it ASAP and those in positions to take players in and move them on need to earn their wage.
Morelos, Borna, Kamara & Goldson should all have went. Sell them at their height of form. Have replacements sourced. 
Also, someone at our club needs to get their head round why the scum always get good to great money for players and ours get minimum offers. 

Firstly, I don't moderate honest opinion.  I simply try to stop posters abusing each other and try to prevent totally unacceptable posts from being posted on the Forum.
We lost £23.5 million last year, or hadn't you noticed?  Yes Covid had a huge impact but the majority of us still paid for season tickets..  We all bought the (seriously over-priced) merchandise.  We were supposed to make a profit on player sales, in 3.5 years when has that happened?    Do you actually think that I like to criticise our Club???   I want the best for us on and off the park.   Goldson hasn't signed a new contract with us and in December he'll be 29.  He can sign a pre-contract just after that and goes for zilch in the summer.  Barisic looked like he had played his last game after beating the tims.  Wtf was his "final" lap of honour about?  It certainly wasn't the usual after-match applause.   He definitely looked like a player on the way out.  I'm not in the least impressed with our recent signings in the summer.   
Sakala, Lundstram, Bacuna, Ofoborh.   Have any been remotely a success?
We can't give away the flops we have signed such as Hastie & Barker.  Simpson still has 3.5 years on a contract????
We have played about 20+ games this season and hardly any have been good to watch.  If the tims hadn't been struggling the RM and every other RFC forum would be going mental.  I love Gerrard for his demeanour and press conferences.  I'm struggling with the playing side of our club though.
If you have read down to this point then please tell me which parts of my post are shit and give your opinion.  This is not a flippant request, I'm totally serious.  In fact, it is exactly what RM is for.
 

Ross Wilson is an overrated failure.  Wilson, Gerrard and our own board have missed the boat in terms of capitalising on last season.  Their miscalculation has cost us literally millions.  It actually hurts to look at that.

We were supposed to find players and turn them over for a profit. We've really failed miserably at that.
That was the point of having this director of football types that scout talent and ensure like for like is found and the team doesn't suffer.
I take it we no longer want to do that? Just get more and more debt to look no better than average.

It is a must buddy but going forward we cannot be reliant upon CL money. I just do not understand how we cannot sell. 
 
Take Goldson - we should never have ended up in this position. Borna? Croatia left back and we can’t seem to atttact bids when he was bang on form - what’s he worth right now ?
 
Something odd about it for me - we need a model where we sell and right now Wilson has done no better that his predecessor in that regard. 

Hats off to those in the board who have put in the money to cover the club, enabling us to get us over the line with the title.

Consistency is so poor game to game - when you think certain players have turned a corner then ahite the next game.  
Seem to never have anyone I the box or its 1 v3 at a minimum. 
Defence and tracking from midfield is really poor this year. Seem to get counter attacked so easily. No knee fancying a tackle.
Love to see the Tackle stats for our midfielders. 

Wouldn't pick anyone out particularly, just another poor team performance.

Aye and he has still been pretty shite which sums up his season. He has been skinned a few times
