As much as I joke about him, we do need to give him a chance at some point. He started well pre season too. Showed some good stuff against St Johnstone where he started out left and bagged two assists and rattled the bar with a great effort.
I'm not sure if he's got anything about him or if he's just shite but he definitely has a confidence crisis the now.

Wilson should follow Gio out of the door and the sooner the better. His signings and the contracts given have been mostly awful. We have a first team squad of about 26 and a first team wage bill of approx £40 million which is an average wage of £1.5 million per year. We are not getting value for money. Our squad has a fairly high average age and we have few players with any really decent potential sell-on fee. The last three transfer windows have been extremely poor. 16 players brought in by fees, frees or loans. Total cost in transfers and signing-on fees is in the region of £20 million. Quantity before quality.

Will be Gio's post match excuse.
However in the last few years Rangers have played and mostly beaten, or largely held their own against Porto, Benfica, Leverkusen (only one to dish out a pumping), Dortmund, Frankfurt and Leipzig in the Europa league.
Everyone of those sides are competing to qualify for the next stage.
"The step up in quality is too much for Rangers" is utter bullshit.
