Games like that win leagues, we can't play silky football all the time and will play better. We better get used to these daft surfaces as 3 out the 11 away teams have these stupid pitches.

When you compare to so many players in this day and age who don't appear to give two fucks, his attitude and outlook is second to none. He's like we all were when we were wee boys going for a kickabout. He just seems to love football so much. It's everything to him. He also seems to have something about him to back it up. The amount of times he broke up play was fantastic. Read the game really well but obviously, as he admitted himself, tired towards the end.
If he stays injury free he could be a real asset...........

I actually thought we played quite well for the first 20 minutes of the second half - we did make chances .
I think a combination of Thursday's nights exertions and deciding close the game out led to us taking our foot off the gas .
