bluenose48 reacted to Ross-Gazza genius in Ref for Scum game
For a change it's not the Ref that's worrying me!!! If we keep playing and shipping goals like we are it won't matter who's in charge.

Paranoid shite.
Put the ball in their net more often than they do ours and it’ll be dead on

bluenose48 got a reaction from J-Maestro in Where does the gaffer look to strengthen in January
I don't think there will be too many signings in January.
MB will want some actual playing time to sort out his squad, who's in and who will be allowed to look elsewhere.
The summer we may be looking for a new GK, CM and possibly right sided mid.

bluenose48 reacted to Colin Traive in Transfers, rumours, wants etc
You see the players I would retain but I would willingly (depending on their contractual situation) accept offers or release Arfield, Davis, Helander, Matondo, Barisic, Wright, Sakala, Souttar and Roofe.
That lot combined have made such a minimal contribution, you’d barely notice if they weren’t here.

bluenose48 reacted to The Specky Forum Organiser in Transfers, rumours, wants etc
The spine of this team have won 1 title in 4 (soon to be 5) seasons I'd rather take my chances and try and build a team that can produce better than that than stick with these failures
'on their day' since when did Rangers accept players not being good enough to deliver constant success because they can put in a good performance when they can be arsed?

bluenose48 reacted to cr3_bear in AGM 2022
Aye his response completely misses the point that we have a list of players who have been either out of action since early last season , in and out with regular niggly injuries for season after season , new signings who have picked up injuries after playing anything between about 1 to 5 fixtures since coming in the door this summer.
All this points to an issue within the club wether it is poorly recruiting a bunch of injury prone players or a medical department which is hopeless . It’s certainly nowhere near as simple as blaming the World Cup

bluenose48 reacted to Johnnyem in Transfers, rumours, wants etc
John Souttar's brother . Harry, has had a great World Cup with Australia, and at 6'-6" he is a commanding in the air centre back. He's a Stoke City player on loan to Fleetwood and he definitely looks the part. I wouldn't imagine he will be too costly but his performances in Qatar will have brought other clubs to his attention.

bluenose48 reacted to bluenoz in Priority for Michael Beale
Getting the best out of senior players who are underperforming.
A creative midfielder and a right winger. Nothing new there.
Looking for a keeper instead of waiting until the summer should be considered.
Giving serious consideration to Lowry, McCann & Lovelace.
Getting to the root problem of why we have so many injuries. It can't all be down to bad luck.
Hopefully, improved fitness levels should have started a few hours ago.

bluenose48 got a reaction from RobertN in Welcome Back to Rangers, Michael Beale!
Welcome back Michael I hope you can instill some pride, desire and fitness into this squad because it seems to me all three are missing.
-
bluenose48 reacted to STEPPS BOY in Priority for Michael Beale
For me i think he needs a statement that it’s going to be his way and his team.
I’d like to see him sell Kent, Kamara and Morelos in January.

bluenose48 reacted to SwallowsHisOwnSpunk in Welcome Back to Rangers, Michael Beale!
Hopefully the board actually back him in the transfer window because no manager in the world is gonna have success with this washed up squad.

bluenose48 reacted to OrangeRab in Next Manager Discussion Thread
We have a board presiding over an umpteenth court case. Which will potentially cost us millions.
And a DoF who has presided over the worst period of transfer business in the clubs history.
Both have been far more damaging to the club than the manager yet both are still here.

Sad that it went tits up for him.
Good news, but only part of what need to happen.

bluenose48 reacted to GersInCanada in Hagi back
Mine seems to be a minority view but I will welcome Hagi back. Someone who can see the killer pass against a 10 man defense plus shoot himself from outside the box can only benefit the team.

bluenose48 reacted to RWB72 in Hagi back
think we will be a much more exciting side with Hagi + Lawrence in the team
-
bluenose48 reacted to rossco87 in Hagi back
It’s all about balance of ability though.
We can have all the speedy players we want on the pitch, but if we don’t have players with the vision and ability to play the right ball then it gets wasted.
Hagi might lack pace and I’m not saying you can have too many slow players, but ultimately the ball will always travel faster than the player.
-
bluenose48 reacted to Colin Traive in Hagi back
I’d rather someone like Hagi or Tillman tried a killer pass even if it was blocked half the time.
You only need one or two to be successful to win a game and ANYTHING has to be more effective than the fucking horseshoe.
-
bluenose48 got a reaction from bluenoz in Hagi back
Agreed, but we don't play with speed. McGregor passes the ball out to Tav or Barasic who take it for a little run then it gets passed back and as you say the opposition has all shuffled back into the 18 yard area and we have to reset.
We are missing a creative midfielder and I think Hagi is that type of player that sees a opening and can put the ball in that space. I think Lawrence and Tillman have that ability as well.
-
bluenose48 got a reaction from Drunk and disorderly. in Hagi back
There are some doomsday merchants on here.
Hagi may not be the fastest player but speed is not everything especially against the majority teams in the SPFL with nine man defences.
The ability to see a pass and deliver it is a far more important skill.

bluenose48 reacted to mitre_mouldmaster in Why has gio never recruited from Holland
Good Dutch players tend to go for silly money.
They are a nation with a bit of a premium on their players, which might not be justified.
Gone are the days we can go sign Numan and the likes for £4m. Can add a 0 to the end of that figure now.
By the time you fall down to players in our price range, they are probably no much better than a Lewis Ferguson etc.
There might be the odd gem out there you can uncover, but they are probably in more abundance in other nations.
-
bluenose48 reacted to .Williamson. in Why has gio never recruited from Holland
New manager, few injuries back and a couple of good quality players changes our side completely.
We are nowhere near as far behind celtic as some people are now making out we are. Our manager is just piss poor domestically and our injury buildup this season is beyond ridiculous
-
bluenose48 reacted to Drunk and disorderly. in Hagi back
If pace was the most important trait in football Sakala would be playing for Real Madrid.
People have been slagging our players for not being inventive and not trying to entertain our support for months FFS!
If Hagi had rapid pace cunts would want him sold because they don't like his hairstyle.
Only happy when moaning imo.

I quite like Hagi. Would be good to have him and Lawrence as CAMs in most games I think.
