I just hope he does the business for the time he is here .... then along with all the rest of them I can't wait for the announcement of their retirement .... I just can't be arsed with all this shit about how hard it was for them and how emotional it's going to be .... it just rakes up all the horrendous memories of how really hard it was for us to take.
We get it mate you're glad to be back .... prove it on the park that's all we ask .... spare us the melodrama ... that's what Netflix is for.

 

Watched the Salford v Shrewsbury game (really just to watch Docherty) recently and currently watching the Wrexham v Newport game.  It just brings home how pish lower league football is and how poor the support is at lower levels.
We have had to endure some tough times over the last few years but our support is unsurpassed in erms of loyalty.
The SPFL can be dire at times but good grief these lower leagues really are dross.  Fair play to the loyal fans who do support their sides.

You've got to catch them early these days to stop them pre-signing for Chelsea at 2 years old.

Stevie is clearly a highly intelligent man ..... I enjoy listening to him talking about the game in general but Rangers in particular - in any interview he gives.

I know Gerrard has played at the top level for a long time and been interviewed thousands of times and has worked in the media but it’s so good watching him and listening to his interviews.
He could easily have slipped into the cliched style of Manager interviews, spouting inane pish and mindless platitudes but how great is it to have a Manager who respects us enough to not do that and to give the fans the truth.
He calls it as it is and gives us it straight.  After all we have been through and some of the garbage we have had to listen to from Managers, we really are fortunate.

Absolutely.  Happens regularly with foreign players.  They don’t realise how big we are and what it means to us.

It’s 0-0 after 88 minutes but I would still rather watch this than I’m a celebrity (unless Holly Willowby got her cans out).

It’s also true that a lot of players just don’t realise what they’re getting themselves into. Once they realise the size of the club and the support they fall in love. 

It’s understandable, he’s a young lad, a Forest fan and Forest were all he had ever known.
Moving home and club were always going to be something he had to get used to.
A club wanted to pay £10m for him.  He is certainly not pish.  He will only get better with games and as he settles.

Could Fury spell it beforehand?

Fury has only had two fights since the comeback.  Not sure he will be ready for this.  Wilder can certainly punch.  Not sure how much punishment Fury can take?  Will go for a Wilder K.O. in 8 or 9.

Yeh youngster they have on loan from Liverpool. Was desperate for us to get him because he is quality, would have destroyed teams in Scotland!
