    99 times out of 100 when a player or manager is running down their contract or signalled their intention to leave then there standards start to slip and performances decline. It even happened with Walter Smith in his final season and Sir Alex when he first stated his plans for retirement.
    Connor Goldson hasn't pulled out of 1 tackle, hasn't gave up one chase, hasn't dropped his effort levels 1% at all this season.
    Nobody has any right to question what ever he decides to do. He will be a club legend in a few years when we look back.
