Find all this hate and disapproval quite hypocritical to be honest
I never wanted him back .To be fair he stepped up to the plate for Rangers on many occasions
    He proved himself a winner
He is gone .He was finished anyway
I would back him all day long against that piece of shite Murty
He may have been naughty regards the media .We can't say for certain
I just don't feel the need now to slag him off
I'd much rather say good luck Kenny
You were exceptionally lucky to get second chance at Rangers .We thank you for the good memories you gave us in your second spell
Just don't look too pleased when/if you score against us in future.

Rangers team lines up before the 1981 SCF against Dundee Hivs. The match ended goalless after ian Redford missed a last minute penalty.
The Rangers player at the end of the line with tracksuit top on however turned in one of the great Cup Final performances in the replay, scoring the first and setting up the other 3 in a 4-1 victory.

I honestly don't give a fuck what he says.  When the competitive games start I want to see a real change in the level of performance.  Winning is what matters I'm tired of soundbites, statements, and pre/post match interviews designed to appease fans.

FFS nothing. I lost my Mother to alcohol addiction when she was aged 46 so I'm aware of it ... fact of the matter is Pena is an absolute cunt for doing what he did - he was walking in with his agent to sign for Cruz Azul and he blew his nose on the badge on our shorts, he wasn't under the influence then or he wouldn't have passed the medicial.
Some folk seem hell bent on trying to be good guys instead of just being honest. Get the fat, junkie Mexican bastard so far to fuck - he shown us or our club zero respect.
Maybe he's even been found out and is doing it so legally he can keep earning almost 30k per week. Poor cunt indeed.

Biggest difference was no social media back then.  SFA and SFL could deal with it internally and did what they thought was best for Scottish Football. This time it was driven by social media with the SFA/SPL too willing to be influenced by it.

I think Green said he didn't realise how important the titles were at first then after consideration he wouldn't sign the one with the title stripping. Obviously with McCoist and Jardine's input.
Just a shame McCoist's wee soundbyte about never forgetting who kicked us when we were down didn't last long - months later he was criticising the fans for non-existing death threats to the transfer embargo panel and then after that saying he was disappointed that Hearts never got to host the Ramsdens final instead of Hibs as they were in administration or needed the money, despite them being the first ones to vote us out the leagues. McCoist cares about McCoist only as far as I'm concerned, if the titles they wanted to take weren't ones he'd had a hand in as part of the management set-up he'd have rolled over like the little whore he was.
I don't have time to read all of that link but I think it was right we agreed to pay our footballing debts - I'd have also went one step further and said the first couple of million from the 24-million Green raised from the share issue to pay off the rest of the debts to your average man and company. It's only fair. Not everyone agree's with me tho.

Agree with this, our gks for years have been howling and cost us quite a few points each season.  Happy to see him back for a few seasons.  Now we need to get some quality cbs in

    Nice one!
He's about the only one i'm happy with coming back, never mind my love and desire for Rangers to do well over riding pretty much anything else.
Best keeper at the Club now, brilliant penalty keeper as well.

Some will complain but I'm glad he is back, he is a top class goalie and we wouldn't get anyone near his quality.

The best scenario would probably be a 3-5-2 and using Tavernier and John as wing-backs.  MON's side played a 3-5-2 and their right WB was Agathe who was absolutely shite in attack and constantly put the ball in the stand.  MON would've killed for a player like Tavernier back then.

I actually don’t see Brown as a hatchet man at all.
I think he’s a wind up merchant but I definitely don’t see him as a hatchet man. In fact he rarely has to make a tackle, we just give him the ball and can’t get it back

My favourite SC final, can’t believe it’s been 45 years. I had just turned 18 and will never forget that day, we (players and fans) were just incredible. Thanks for the video, could watch it all day long ????????????

I’ve posted this before but it’s still a great memory for me.
Grew up in Kingspark and my pal came round for me  “Don’t go near Hampden.” says my Mum. Of course we do- no colours on and a cop asks if we want to get in - absolutely we do. Cop says I can only get you in celtic end, so in we go - two 12 year old bears in with the filth. So we’ve to jump about when they score and when Greig dives to save the ball going in the pape standing beside us asks who saved it and my pal replies “Don’t know but he’s an orange bastard.” By this point we cannae wait for the gates to open and as soon as they did we were out and into the old south enclosure. Climbed the steps into the enclosure and a hand grabs my shoulder. My mum and wee brother. My old man who was working had gotten a couple of tickets and when the old dear couldn’t find my pal and me decided fuck it I’m going - and out of that massive crowd I bump onto her. What a day. That night the next door neighbours who were papes had a party and I remember the old dear going in a red white and blue dress - fuck all political correctness in those days...

I was there as well bud 14 at the time, one of the greatest days of my life. The 1970 league cup final (DJ) was my first big crowd, they said it was 106.263 but if you look at the films you can't see a stairway, we were packed like sardines, easily the biggest crowd I have ever witnessed..
