  1. I actually think the board really value the position of a DOF, however and going by the last attempt at recruiting a credible manager they want to fill that position themselves. Stewart Robertson is the perfect fall guy for when a manager picked by one of the directors in the background goes wrong. That is all he is. As the largest shareholder then King will have more leverage on decisions based on managers etc- but it really astounds me that any of our board have successful companies given the circus act we’re currently witnessing.
  2. If we’ve learned anything since 2012 then we won’t sign the guy. How many players have we seen get rave reviews and play really well for a provincial club only to arrive at Rangers and crumble. hes better than most of our central midfield but still not what we need to succeed
  3. In the next window I’d be happy with 4 signings. 2 center backs a midfielder and striker. That doesn’t include the current loans with h option to buy. too muchofa major rebuild then it’ll be atleast another season of up and results. Which knowing our esteemed board will lead to another managerial casualty and more upheaval. the main star should be the manager and give him his 1st choice 4 players and build from there. If we got good bids for any of the current shower and he identified better affordable players then re invest in January
  4. It already is too late mate. King and his hangers on are going nowhere and we’ll never see a title or credible challenge while that disease is at the club.
  5. Where Pedro cost us points in draws murty is costing us in losses. If the board decide to bin him then if they really cared for the club they would openly invite a new managing director and CEO. It’s quite clear they’ve taken us as far as they can and the mantle should be passed to someone else. if no one comes forward then fair enough but they need to atleast ask for help and admit they’ve made more disastrous decisions than good ones.
  6. Murty hasn’t done that in all honesty. It’s just the 2 glaring defeats to hibs and celtic that stand out. sometimes I wonder what the reaction would be if we beat celtic twice, win the cup but just finish 3rd behind Aberdeen.
  7. These players or atleast most of them aren’t good enough long term to compete against and beat the taigs. You could sense panic a lot of the time when we had the ball, Morelos panicked twice and missed when both occasions it would be easier to score. We lack composure the tims forwards have. you can tell we have mainly small time players by the way they look past an upcoming fixture and focus on the celtic game, and while these players see celtic as a massive game or a better team then we’ll always be 2nd to them. we need a mindset like the past squads had. Let celtic players talk in the papers and us do our talking on the pitch, the players are left eating humble pie especially after having the balls to cheer the semi final draw.
  8. Wouldn’t be questioning his integrity really. A win in an old firm match against a superior opponent would look good on his cv. Something our last 2 managers have failed to do. we lost the game from the 30 minute mark when for the rest of the 1st half they dominated midfield and after halftime it continued. Even with a man less they looked sharper and made better decisions with and without the ball, they have better players with title winning experience whereas we don’t. the rebuild will take time- possibly another 2-3 windows but we’ve showed signs of improvement especially away from home. What we lack is a real mental toughness and 4-5 good first team starters that can make a difference
  9. Using the 10 men argument is not really valid. How many games do you see where the 10 men actually play like winners? We won a final with 9 men for crying out loud. We also absolutely hammered Dundee Utd 7-1 with 10 men and I think atleast 4 goalscame after Miller was sent off. sometimes if you prepare for the scenario as celtic clearly did then it can still work
  10. Until we have winners in our team then no matter the manager we’ll ultimately always fail. under previous years we’ve always had a nucleus that has been used to winning- even when celtic did well under O’Neill and strachan we still had guys that knew what it took to win and we could rebuild around them. now we have no one. So we either have to have patience and build a good strong side capable of winning and gaining that experience or we have to spend more money on ready made players. It was always a hard ask to beat them for these players at ibrox given how many points we’ve dropped at home. If anything that result should show the manager and players how much more they have to give to beat celtic. we need to start winning those games before it becomes psychologically impossible and they end up going a few years without losing to us
  11. How many goals do we concede that should’ve been defended better though? Most goals conceded by us involve glaring errors on our part
  12. Completely deflated by the result but for atleast 60 mins we hardly pressed them when the evidence was there in the opening 10 mins that they were lax and sloppy in possession. Yet we stand off for too long and Rogic cracks what was a good hit for the equaliser. Our problem today was standing off them. we could blame murty all day long for keeping goss on the pitch as he looked outclassed but even you could see him gesturing to the players to hurry up and show urgency yet they didn’t. this team will never beat celtic, we were in the best form for ages and still couldn’t get a result. They’ll more than likely beat us en route to a 2nd treble on the spin. A really really big summer for Rangers F.C. this year. Defence needs over hauling drastically and a tough ball winner for the midfield that does all the ugly things well
  13. Can remember that like yesterday. McCabe absolutely bossed brown the whole game.
  14. Think he’s not being truthful, why did him and his team withdraw any dispute against the club for unfair dismissal then? Such a coincidence that the best in the business was at forest a mere 1-2 weeks after the back stabbing. I don’t always agree with what the board does but they were spot on in getting shot of those 3
  15. Not seen the story but the headline looks to me as if he’s just brushing away all the talk and looks supremely over confident and dismissing our chances. Cue Morelos double and candeias to really make him crack. Never liked him as Liverpool manager, thought he was smug and arrogant. Goes to Glasgow and thinks everyone loves him in tunnels etc. Guys deluded
  16. King Carlos- gave his all in every game. Just wish we’d have got abit more transfer fee for him.
  17. Collum has actually given us 1 penalty against them at the piggery the 3-1 game in October 2010. Miller got 2 and other was loovens og
  18. Fergie was immense especially when given the captains arm band. I can remember early on that he forever seemed to go sideways and then watching him burst through Timmy and finish a brilliant move to put us 1-0 up. i thought his best games by far were in Europe - never looked out of place against Bayern. I’d say only mendieta really got the better of him in all the games. Used to love how the tims would wax lyrical over brown and fergie just always bossed him. It’s a shame a lot of his paper articles are typical of everyone appeasing the celtic media
  19. We have a small chance.. beat the tims next week and you could say we have a good chance. The best preparation for us is to take 1 game at a time and see where we end up.
  20. Still never seen anything murty said as embarrassing or out of order. Goss is here for 6 months and one of a number of players we’re looking at to sign. Murtys words
  21. It also puts us under pressure incase anyone missed that. We have to keep closing that gap and then see how they get on. Next week is becoming bigger for us than it is for them and so far under pressure we’ve not played that well.
  22. Cringeworthy commentator, and at times speaks like he has a grudge against Rangers. The way he goes on about football in general you’d think he’d had a bash to the head. He comes across like he knows nothing and it’s reflected on his managerial career
