Our last ex player recommendation was Pedro Caixinha, that went well

Lampards an inferior Gerrard. We already tried that trick and got the best out of Gerrards early managerial career aura. Vastly diminishing returns from that now, considering Lampards been around a while now and not done as well as Gerrard. 

Anyone else feel Davis will go on a run of games and the board will be all lazy on it.

Warburton had his faults, and the way he left was a bit weird, but he at least had a clear footballing philosophy that the players carried off well until better teams and managers started adapting to our tactics. 
He had no plan B and couldn't find ways to win ugly though.

Could even that Gio was the right type of appointment, he at least had the CV and had won things in The Netherlands. Just ended up not working out. Beale was a lazy, easy and old friends act appointment.

I like what you're saying but I'm not sure the person you're describing that would also want to come to us exists. 
Also, it's easy to say never say die, must win team... But our players are shite. They can't win, that's the problem. We need better players to be able to even have that attitude, never mind have the attitude and actually get the wins.

Utter shite, along with all the other signings we have made under Beale, complete and utter shite. 

I'm scunnered. Just feel completely out of touch with us now.

Dessers and Lammers should never have been signed and I wouldn't have allowed Guardiola to sign them never mind Beale.   
Dessers was too expensive and too old for a start with a pretty poor track record.  9 clubs in just over 10 years.  No sell-on value at all and on high wages for 4 years.
Lammers is just as bad.  Paid far too much for a guy with his recent record  of 5 clubs in the last 4 seasons playing only 86 times with a massive goal tally of 9.  Another 4 year contract on high wages with no sell-on value.

Thought we were getting a watered-down version of Morelos, seems like we've got a combination of James Beattie and Eduardo Herrera instead
