We started first half with kent, diallo, aribo, roofe and arfield, and between them they didnt offer anything of note, at the back we had kamara in front of Goldson, tav, bassey and barisic, 2 of whom completely shat themselves in that atmosphere
GVB could have started with an inch perfect game plan, but when diallo, tav and barisic absolutely chuck it from the first whistle, kamara soon after and kent fails to show up, that game plan is going to shit no matter how perfect it is

Surely people realised under Pedro that a manager ranting and raving publicly and showing 'passion' was completely and utterly irrelevant?

I think it’s just down the fickle nature of football at times.
For example, everyone remembers Tav’s comments in that match programme a couple of years ago and many still bring it up as a criticism of him, whereas everyone will have forgotten that he didn’t do the post-match interview last night by the time Sunday comes round.

It’s easier to forget something someone didn’t do rather than something they did do. Sometimes it’s better just to say nothing than have something accessible forever that can be used to condemn you.

Tonight was shambolic but why all the shitebag talk because the full backs don't bomb on.....when Gerrard played with tav & borna high up the park it came at a price of having 3 holding midfielders at home in the league on some occasions.....it kinda of equates to the same only Kent & Diallo were meant to supply the width with Aribo & Arfield supposedly breaking the lines.....the problem was they got right at us from the first kick and shut down the space on both sides, don't get me wrong Borna looked terrified from the first kick....GVB should have shown some balls and made the change early doors, allowing it to manifest is the reason it ended up 3-0 at halftime instead of getting in at 1-0 which we would still have been in the game.

From tracking flights desperate for him to get the job, to giving up on him after! 6weeks! I am not a fan of him never was but if this is the time to rally round n support the staff and players we are 1 point behind, 1 fucking point!.

i understand what we're saying here but it wasn't his tactics for shagger two have two howlers and Bassey to have a howler. those 3 goals where massive blunders. blunders that are seen in sunday football.

As others have said, manager's select the penalty takers, he's the captain and has a strong record of scoring them. He's one of our top players and there is a reason we let our best prospect go for top dollar, because he can't shift Tav who barely misses a game and has been instrumental to the way we've played for years
