With all due respect mate, have you seen the level of the game they’re playing at versus us? Playing PL and CL with that style of play under those demands is very very different to playing in Scotland
Our squad players should have enough quality in the tank to beat the team 2nd bottom in the league

Hopefully a treble this season and he'll see that as the perfect send off and he'll be off to pastures new, followed by Goldson. Sick of the pair of them confusedly looking at each other with their arms in the air after yet another mistake.

Clement has been resolute in his “the only game that matters is the next one” mantra and that’s good enough for me.
You also have major imponderables like injuries where, sooner or later, we need to start getting players back instead of constantly losing them.
And then you have VAR, a fucking curse run by a cabal of Rangers-haters which will put every conceivable obstacle in our way.
A league win (let alone a treble) against that backdrop would be one of greatest league titles ever.
So we have only one game to play - the next one, nothing else matters.

Tarriers in work yesterday battering on about Scotland’s European co-efficient and how the Czech’s might still leapfrog us.
The reason the co-efficient is such a tight race is because those manky bastards have barely laid a glove on anyone in Europe for years.
We better win the league this season and lock them out the champions league. It’s the least they deserve as they’re nothing short of an embarrassment to themselves and European football.

Interesting read, although at the end it says the sale of Abada is the most shameful thing to happen at celtic in their 137 year history. I can think of something I’d put ahead of it, but I agree with the overall point of that article

So he stopped watching F1 because Max Verstappen got handed a title.
I'm assuming he was perfectly happy when celtic were handed a title, I don't recall hearing the unwashed raising  concerns about brands being damaged.

I often get asked if I enjoy my work as a Football Agent.

Of course, there are times when it’s incredibly mentally and physically challenging. Much like a player, but in a hugely different context.

But there are times when it’s the best, and I mean the best job in the world. Just like last night:

Benfica v Rangers in Lisbon, last 16 of the Europa League 1st leg - which ended, against the odds, 2-2 with Benfica coming from behind twice (with two gifted goals from Rangers).

Dujon Sterling, who as many know, I have looked after for 9 years since 15 years old, scored his first senior goal in 137 attempts (I’ve probably watched most of those games!) What a goal, what a new memory. An many also know, in 2020, Dujon’s career was so nearly ended by a sudden illness, that kept him out the game for 10 months.

What struck me as it went in, standing on my own amongst 3,500 delirious Rangers fans, was what it meant to so many others.

To Dujon: it was his reward for the battle he won in 2020 and never giving in.

To his Mum: a moment that emotionally rewarded her for the countless hours since he joined Chelsea at 6 years old for her love and support every step (or run) he made.

To the coaches and staff of various clubs/ England (to many to name): a wonderful sense of joy for Dujon knowing his journey and the part they played at some point. My phone went crazy as he scored.

To everyone at Rangers (staff/teammates): it’s a team effort from start to finish and a measure of the hard work put in by all.

To those partners behind the scenes (the boot companies, the lawyers, accountants, concierge, insurance, mortgage advisors, barbers, car salesman (endless list!) who know Dujon.

To the media/ journalists: you know who you are and who have never doubted his ability and spoken about it.

To the fans past and present: an unreal bond through thick and thin. Rangers love him coz he gives 100%. He is an elite talent. The fan next to me last night was drunk with a thick Glaswegian accent. Couldn’t understand a single word for 90 mins but when Dujon scored he jumped on me, hit me in the stomach and kissed me 😂 another very special moment.

To Dujon’s close knit friends, in and out of the game: you never doubted.

To my wife, family, friends: thank you for understanding and being there. Countless messages as the goal went in.

To my other clients/ their families/ colleagues: again loads of messages/calls sharing the happiness of the goal.

Football is the biggest sport in the world. It forms part of the wheel of life for so many, for most of their lives. It’s a tough workplace for all involved.

But moments like last night, make it so, so satisfying….and enjoyable 😉

Have a good day everyone. And never stop believing ⚽️ 💙

P.S. in the 2nd leg next week Benfica will experience Ibrox at its firey best. Can’t wait. ✔️

RIP My Dad, John Hamilton 1944-2024
Tomorrow, I will have to do the worst thing any child has to do: bury a parent. In this case, My Dad.. He passed away peacefully on the 17th February, just days after seeing in his 80th Birthday.
My family is heartbroken, I am heartbroken. My Dad is dead. The man who help raise me, the man who was the strong man I looked up to a child, the man who took me to my first football match and was my companion at games for the nest 40 years.
He was a fan since 1950. Grew up with Young, Shaw, Hubbard(who became a close friend which blew him away lol), Simpson and then THAT team of Baxter, Caldow, Shearer, McMillan (RIP), Brand, Miller, McKinnon, Wilson. To the modern greats. He saw them all. And loved Rangers as nuch at 80 as he did aged 6 back in 1950.
Together we saw some of the great days and nights of said last 40 years. From the Souness era and 9IAR to the run to the final in Seville. Which by then he was getting too old to attend a final abroad. He would have loved the irony of us going top that weekend he died. In his memory, I will be there on Thursday night and for the rest of the season, BUT it will not be the same and probably will not be for a long time.....
RIP to a bluenose, a father and simply DAD.

3months ago…..” a 'stud to the eye' clearly merited the sending-off. The guy's not meaning to do it, but of course if you're taking a stud in the eye, it's dangerous play. It was clearly a red card”…..today…..”you put a still on that it looks dangerous, but that's not the reality of the move. There's no force there, the ball's popped up. It's a booking”
he’s an absolute walloper of the highest order.
