Hmm wouldnt have been my choice as interim manager, for me you need someone with a strong voice and capable of making a few what could be seen as difficult decisions and I do not see Davis doing that. Davis will do what he is told to do by others. Even when he was captain he was a bit of a mouse.

Talking about captains if he wants to make a statement straight away he should remove the captaincy from Tav immediately and give it to Butland. I like Tav as a player but he is never a captain, he needs to focus on his own game as well.

You don’t play at the level Davis has for club and country if you don’t have a bit of steel about you.

Because you’ve never seen him shout at folk or take a flakey doesn’t mean he’s a yes man or a mouse, what utter shite.

The role of captain is vastly overrated, you want as many players on the park to take a bit of responsibility as possible.

    Ally McCoist (0 games managed)

    Mark Warburton (78 games)

    Pedro Caixinha (254 games)

    Steven Gerrard (0 games)

    GvB (199 games)

    Michael Beale (22 games)

    Average = 92 games.

Our competition across the city; employed Rogers (the first time) having managed 316 games.  Ange, 601 games.

Is there a reason why our board are picking managers with paper-thin CVs?

Is there anyone who actually thinks that £4m is better splashed out one players like Dessers as opposed to paying a decent salary to a tried and tested successful football manager?

Since Ferguson Man Utd have appointed some of the most experienced managers in the game and fucked it up so how does that help with your theory.

As one of the few who thought Gio should have been given longer, I do see the current managerial predicament as a bit self-inflicted...

However anyone expecting the Board to shell out millions on managerial pay-offs after spending £15 million in the summer is simply delusional.

Add in possible compensation for a new manager and guarantees a new manager would expect for January transfers, and I think it's safe to say that Beale won't be going anywhere any time soon. The desperate hope will be that getting Cantwell/Raskin/Lawrence/Danilio back from injury will spark an upturn in form.

Depressing - but this is the reality of where we are I'm afraid.

Our form was shite when those 4 were playing so forget that happening,he is finished.

He'll be in charge at our next game which we will win. Beale will be with us for a while yet.

He is a goner no matter what, the board know they are next in line for abuse so will bin him.

If it was just a section of the support then board could ignore it but Beale has been found guilty by a unanimous verdict.

It papered over cracks and bought extra time for a failing manager and players we've been saying for years are serial losers.

Things were kicked down the road after Seville and have cone hone to roost.

Did we not win the Scottish cup with those losers.

I think your M on your keyboard is nissing.

What did reaching a European final achieve and how does it help us currently? I'm confused...

So how would going out of Europe, sacking gio and signing another dud manager have been good for us in the long run.

The euro final just like 55 was an opportunity missed to use the feel good factor and kick on but anyone saying reaching a major final is a handicap is seriously bonkers.

The transport links at Ibrox are horrendous. Not as bad as Hampden right enough but definitely need addressed at one point. I left a bit earlier last night purely down to having a 2 year and 5 year old with me. I normally park at Dunbreck Road but on Wednesday there was police there to stop people parking on the road. Had to park at Asda yesterday, fucking carry on.

As you say hampden is much worse but I’ve never seen an empty Rangers end unless we are getting humped, and you don’t see the jacobites leaving early and they face the same problems travel wise as us.

Just finished watching Chelsea game and although the last 20 minutes was grim to watch no cunt left.

Police used to control the traffic at Ibrox especially going onto motorway and at Paisley rd toll but now their only interest is in towing cars and catching fans having a fly drink.

No cunt left early when we beat Leipzig etc so what is the difference especially when midweek games are harder travel wise.

It'll be down to us to set the tone, so far they've just done enough, a better team would have been all over the scum in the second half.

The team that finished on the park today is probably the weakest scum team for long enough but still won which says it all about the state of our league considering they were away to the 3rd best team.

In this context I think it’s wrong to do.

But more generally it’s becoming embarrassing how few people are left at FT.

It absolutely needs to be called out.

The empty stands are embarrassing and I don’t know why the players bother going round applauding when there are more folk on the pitch than in the stands.

With the authorities in charge saying that there will be more and more added time on at the end of games then it is only going to get worse.

just my opinion but I think selling so many season tickets doesn’t help,a lot of fans have had season tickets that long that they become blasé about the whole matchday experience and I definitely notice the difference at cup games where I sit when you have a lot of fans who are not season ticket holders round about you.

Another thing is supporters buses forcing fans to leave early as if you are not on bus 5 mins after the final whistle they fuck off, especially the ones picking up fans outside the stadium.
