Bearsden bear reacted to Goianegra in Darian MacKinnon
Halliday deserves praise for his performance more than laughing at this no mark.

Bottom line is that Religion is either dead or dying in Scotland and nobody gives a fuck about it, we use sectarianism to abuse each other but in reality we both live our lives free of religion while more churches become community centres and nurseries every day.

Decent watch. Wish they would have talked more about Barton though.

Something that is rarely mentioned is that the likes of Hamilton, Kilmarnock and Livingston aren't just gaining an advantage on the park with a plastic pitch but it's also a financial advantage over the likes of St. Mirren, Dundee and Motherwell.
If say St. Mirren get relegated below Hamilton they could, in theory, make the argument that Hamilton's pitch gives them an advantage at home as well as having the ability to save some money and bring "better" players.
Where's the sporting integrity now?

Measured and controlled. Made his points about deficiencies in process and offered solutions.
It wouldn't work if he ranted and raved playing the victim. All he is trying to do is garnish support from others to help improve a flawed system.

Bearsden bear reacted to Terry Hurlock Loyal in Mark Warburton on Open Goal
Judging by his absence during the signing announcement, and a complete black out on the media from him at the time (to get his coaching badges in Israel, I believe) - I got the feeling he didn't want him here, sadly which came to head for us.

Good interview but that needs to be the beginning and not the end as far as getting changes in the SFA and challenging the BBC bias.

If the BBC do not want to engage with us, confirm they are treating us differently then we should commence action against them through the league ie they should prohibit showing any highlights of our games. I’d imagine that’s a non-starter but it wouldn’t half stop the trial by sportscene

Bearsden bear got a reaction from Amokachi in We are boring to watch.
Playing in front of the opposition/sideways passing tends to happen when teams sit in and we have little space to operate.
Our best performances are against teams that open up and leave space at the back for us to exploit.
St Johnstone are fairly well organised but we played into their hands today. The ref helped them by constantly stopping the game for nothing fouls which also prevented us getting things going.

Bearsden bear reacted to jim beam in Kidding ourselves on
We had an outside chance at the start of the season but our inconsistency and lack of quality players has cost us this season.
The Tarriers will extend the lead on us and finish probably double figures ahead of us when the league is over we will finish second.
We need a cup win to try and salvage at least something and stop The tarriers from getting another treble.
In the close season we need serious money spent on quality players or we face a re run of this season.

every team come to Ibrox and sit in, they know how to play us and SG does not know how to break them down lets be honest. STJ are fucking rank rotten.

.maybe but our only genuine goal threat from midfield. The rest have barely registered a goal and an assist between them

Bearsden bear reacted to Cedrick in Kamara
Already got a full midfield thst does that , neat tidy and doing ok is not good enough i’m afraid

Bearsden bear reacted to Sparkle in Barisic
Honestly thought Davis was worse. Barasic at least contributed a couple of decent corners, SD did nothing at all.

Bearsden bear got a reaction from Cedrick in Barisic
Same issue we've had all season. Davis was meant to add creativity (not happened).
Kamara is looking like another defensive mid that goes sideways and backwards. We are crying out for a box to midfielder but Arfield apart the others all do the same job.

Did more than Defoe. Put in graft and came close.
I'd start with him upfront if Morelos is out before Defoe. All day long.
-
Bearsden bear reacted to Broxi in Lafferty
We looked far more dangerous with him on the park than Defoe and not for the first time.
Not saying he's good enough either but at least he made some efforts on goal
-
Bearsden bear reacted to Valance1690 in Defoe and Lafferty potentially out
Defoe/Lafferty are worrying but hopefully one of them pull through for tomorrow, if not then has to be Kent.
Another setback to Dorrans aswell apparently, time to cut our losses with him as it's becoming a joke now, just as bad as Rossiter

Bearsden bear got a reaction from Blumhoilann in Statement regarding disciplinary procedure
What seems to be happening here is a poor man's VAR which tries to correct all the refs decisions 2 days after our game has finished!
For example all being equal, If the CO was operating VAR vs sheep McGregor would be given a red, the sheep a pen and we end up losing that game!! However I think we all know the ref seen it and its the type of challenge /motion that goalies make up and down the country without anyone raising an eyebrow.
The SFA should stick to clear and obvious 'off the ball' incidents only. That's the problem with this type of thing. It starts as one thing and evolves into something else. It's another reason VAR scares me.

Bearsden bear reacted to Bears r us in Statement regarding disciplinary procedure
I have said that all along since the game, when most goalies come out and smother the ball on the ground and start sliding along the ground they put up a leg to try and stop themselves getting hurt.
I have no doubt many of our fans would have thought the same if it had been Wes, but A Mc is still not liked by many, and while I can understand the reasons for that, he has saved us on so many occasions since he came back.
