My mate lost the plot with someone today in the boozer when they said Souttar and Davies had a good game apart from the goals they cost us.
"Apart from the goals they cost us", fuck me man how low is the bar if costing the most basic of goals that cost you the game doesn't automatically mean you've had a shocker.
What I will say though is if Souttar is going to be a success here, he has to show he can overcome this kind of adversity.

Just seen it confirmed that Hatate is definitely out for them, he's their best player, always seems to hurt us, I'm quietly confident now, we'll have our strongest midfield while they'll have a weaker than normal midfield 3.
 
 

And that's wrong too, you don't level things up by taking away half the accessibility, you level it up by making it available to everyone. 

McNee was such a prick, called Gazza number 8 and called Larsson number 7, as much as I hated larsson playing for them he was pretty vanilla in terms of personality, McNee just loved annoying fans, he always wanted to be the talking point.

Between 97-02 was the glory years, the attitude and personality wasn't unique for the time but it fit in perfectly with the whole Brit Pop scene in the 90s and managed to carry that on for a few years after the Millennium.
 
I've no idea the last time I watched it, must be about 15 years, after Lovejoy left it just felt completely different, guess who it appealed to in it's pomp all just got old, Tim Lovejoy is probably the proof in that pudding, a loud cocky and cheeky guy to a now reserved host of a Sunday morning show aimed at housewives.

Duk's the best player in the League outside of us and the tims, wouldn't be shocked if they actually go after him to replace Abada but I think he'd do really well here.
 
Dylan Levitt is a really good player too but needs probably more time and nurturing than we can afford him at the minute.
 
Nisbet I'd be happy with as he's better than Colak IMO but I'd still want a first choice striker.

Mate theres not a hope in hell they put an offer in anywhere near that, I remember folk talking about that figure but that's all it ever was, then they used Jim White's interview with the Lille chairman as proof but if you actually listened to it, all he did was confirm a bid he never once said 16m.
If a bid that high came in for Morelos he'd have been out the door quicker than we could've tweeted him goodbye, was only a few month before it that Gerrard nearly walked because he came back from Colombia late and he was dropped for Tynecastle when we got put out the cup.
 

Wasn't sure if it was 2 or 3 last year but aye if it's the Sunday it would be the same, think because of the Kiltwalk though it'll be Saturday lunchtime.

That's what we rated him at, not sure anyone else ever did, Lille had an €8m offer for him apparently knocked back in 2020 but that's as big as anyone ever went, for one reason or another, despite his goals in Europe, no-one seemingly wanted him.

There's a few similarities with them, both of them have been a Rangers talisman of their era, both of them joined when we were miles off winning the League, both of them won their first League Title in their 4th season.
 
That's where the similarities end though, Ally McCoist scored 163 goals in his first six seasons, Morelos is on a very respectable 122, great but not legendary, most of those McCoist's goals came in a period we were probably the 3rd/4th best Scottish club while Morelos has led the line in an era Scottish football is absolutely terrible.
 
I get why young guys who never saw McCoist would pick Alfie, I love him too but it's not backed up by facts or stats.
