In fairness we’ve been doing this for years now where we have players who have elite qualities in some areas but come with glaring flaws, which is exactly the profiles we should be going for over average but not great at anything players.
Maximise the elite aspects, try to hide the flaws and you get a team hopefully capable of well above its average.

There was probably 10 to 15s from the tackle to the ball hitting the net. I'd be livid if that was considered a foul but not brought back because the defence was judged to have reset.

We do seem to have an issue where we don't come out flying and put ourselves under pressure against them by giving up daft goals.

People talk about bottle, the leagues basically gone at half time and we have a two goal deficit to turn around. We ended up not losing yesterday and the dessers goal by the letter of the law should stand. Teams who lack bottle or melt don’t come back from 2 goals down then concede a goal to go 3 2 down with about 2 minutes to go and still don’t lose.
i think it’s peoples way of coping is just shout bottles gone. We’ve lost 1 game domestically since December. Yesterday probably goes against those who are claiming it’s a bottle issue.

Stewart fucking greetin' about our penalty was embarressing but not unexpected.
Apparently "winning the ball" means slightly knicking it away from the opponent while completely avoiding the fact that if Silva doesn't get kicked down he has a free run on to the ball.
