He is far from pish.The lad has improved immensely over the last season and has been by far our best and most consistent defender.When you consider he is still maturing and learning it’s very short sighted to state he is nowhere near good enough for us.Considering the shite he has been partnered with just think how much better he would become with a decent CD beside him.The fact that he is the one player not needing to prove himself for next season but he still gave us his all says a lot about his character.
His future is elsewhere but he leaves with his head held high and my good wishes.
 

We made a colossal fuck up letting this boy go. Watched him closely tonight , his positioning and play from the back with head or foot was excellant.
Only player in this whole squad who even resembles a defender. Should have forked out to keep him.

Heard tonight from a source close to the club two things:
1) Douglas Park is taking over the ownership and running of the club. 
King may not be around for much longer.
2) When asked about who the new manager is to be the response was that the club know and it’s an appointment that nobody would see coming. 
Makes me think Gerrard is the one coming in. 
Not going to start saying who it came from as not worth the hassle at my end, but it’s someone I know, trust and who is well connected with the club.

Stevie Clark was out of a job and look what he's done.  Don't tell me big McLeish wouldn't have done a better job than Murty even to the end of the season.
