I’d play McCann instead of Tillman.

We're just absolutely fucking boring even when we're winning. I'm genuinely considering turning this off and reading the end of my book because this isn't entertaining at all.

Really pleased for him his goals were bang on the money .
The link up play tonight from him was outstanding in the through balls he played by his hold up play using his body to shield the ball and made quite a few telling passes after some great close control nobody was getting that ball of him .
That's more like the Alfredo we know now you can guarantee the roughouse treatment will be back in full swing in the league as not one of those cunts could handle him in those situations as he turned them or Bullied them they resorted to the dirty tactics it definitely affected his game as officials sought to penalise him as those bastards hit the deck like that bastard Considine .

Bit of a shite thread title I know but I couldn't think of anything better , the difference I'm on about is in our young supporters, as a dad to 3 girls I never imagined them attending Ibrox with me through the years, I thought they would just drift away despite my best efforts, I bought season tickets for the elder 2 next to me when we went down to division 3 and they have attended ever since, they've watched and put up with some amount of shite home and away and now they are buzzing every week , I've went from a shrug of the shoulders to who we were playing to my 15 year old just walking into the kitchen and clenching her fist and saying, I'm not sleeping tonight dad I'm too hyper let's fucking do them, I'm allowing the swearing because I feel the same, Thursday night was fantastic with them they went mental, my pal takes his girls and he's commented much the same, lost generation my arse imo, if anything they'll end up more loyal than any of us because of the events of the last decade.

roggy reacted to We Will Follow Rangers in Gerrard and Goldson : Post Match Reactions
22 European games only 2 defeats, qualification for the group stages from first round of qualification 2 seasons on the trot, built a side on a relative shoestring that would run through walls for him, absolute class act, the epitome of Rangers class.
He's no bad is he?

roggy reacted to beararse in Welcome to Rangers Brandon Barker
Don’t think many/any knew anything or were excited about Kent when he first arrived.
My lasting impression of Barker playing against us was that he was fast as fuck, very direct and would shoot from anywhere.
I honestly think he’ll prove a more than adequate replacement for Kent.
Tin hat on!

roggy reacted to SeparateEntityMyArse in Welcome to Rangers Brandon Barker
Our players wide left have had a tendency to turn back and play safe af times rather than really driving on and committing fullbacks. I think that directness at pace is what this kid will bring us for starters.

some ideas for getting to our possible European opponents. Not sure there will be charters for many of any of the destinations. Not many planes sitting doing nothing in mid July.

Malaga is a couple of hours drive away, Ryanair, easyjet and jet2 fly glasgow, Edinburgh prestwick
seville, ryanair and easyjet fly from Edinburgh, 150 miles away
almeria, Jet 2 fly from Glasgow, limited service and 4 hour drive
murcia, Ryanair fly from prestwick, 5 and a half hour drive
Faro Portugal, about 5 hours drive away. Ryanair easyjet and Jet 2 from the usual airports
kosovo.... mmm tricky one, I was there in February...I would stay in Skopje and get the bus down
Wizz air fly from Luton to pristina and Skopje. I got the bus from Skopje to pristina, takes a couple of hours and about £10 return. Much more to do in Skopje and cheap as fuck for food and drink
ryanair fly Edinburgh to Sofia and it’s a ten hour bus journey
ryanair fly Edinburgh to Bratislava and wizzair fly Bratislava to Skopje
wizz air fly glasgow to Budapest and Budapest to Skopje and pristina
easyjet / Ryanair glasgow/ Berlin wizzair Berlin to pristina or Skopje.... need to change airport on Berlin so watch what you are booking
ryanair glasgow Edinburgh to Brussels And then wizzair to pristina or Skopje
Ryanair stansted to nis Serbia and then a 5 hour bus down to Skopje
cant be arsed thinking of anymore , feel free to add

I disagree about Kamara. I think he's quite dynamic in that he wins the ball and covers ground with it. He is good at transitions. We do need a driving force but arguably he plays for us already. McCrorie could be our captain in the middle, next to Kamara with an Arfield replacement with more guile in summer. Rossiter has some excellent qualities as well as an alternative to Kamara or McCrorie, if he proves his fitness he could be the dynamic box to box player we are missing

roggy reacted to Colin Traive in Kamara
I have high hopes for this guy.
Three years at Arsenal is pretty good grounding and what I’ve seen of him since we started getting linked with him has been impressive.
Straight replacement for Coulibaly (but younger, better and our player, not a loan) who I would not expect to feature for us again.
If we’re going to stick with the formula that saw us dominate celtic and Livi, then we need players who can step in to cover for the likes of Jack, McCrorie and Arfield.
Kamara can provide that.
Welcome aboard Glen.

roggy reacted to Dickie in Applaud them not abuse them
I started going to Rangers games in the early sixties unfortunately just in time for the scum from the east end to start dominating Scottish football (they also did well in Europe but you will not hear them mentioning it). I also suffered during the John Greig(manager) years and still went when our crowds fell to sometimes as low as 4 figures. I of course also had the jock Wallace, souness and watty years then came the ebt shite and demotion to the bottom of the league and I did actually think that we were fucked and would never recover but as everyone agrees the one constant in the last half a dozen or so years has been the amazing fans,we have filled every ground in the country and smashed all sorts of records attendance wise. Meanwhile at the paedodome as the scum hoovered up trophy after trophy unhindered their attendances unbelievably dropped to such an extent that they resorted to closing parts of the ground. I realise most on here will have stopped reading by now but my point is about fans having a go at the young supporters ie. the union bears and the ones who have now taken up running on to the park to celebrate,I find it mind blowing the sheer number of young fans that are now actually attending our matches when you think of all the crap we have been through and the fact we have won fuck all for years and a huge amount these kids have never seen Rangers lifting a trophy. So just think back to your early years as a supporter and give the kids a break, they might be a pain in the arse at times with their flares ect but their outstanding support for the club cannot be questioned.

roggy reacted to cascadeshrimp in Tav’s Rangers Stats
I think we really under estimate Tav and I can see him in a top 8 EPL team in the years to came.(possibly Liverpool???)
He's still learning and is a much better player than when he 1st got here IMO.
He's one of those players that when he does go he'll be missed by even the folk that don't rate him.

this is a bullshit fallacy.
While I agree that he is more effective going forward, to imply that he can't defend is unfair at best.

How exactly does this sectarianism manifest itself? What practical, tangible, recent evidence is there of it being a serious problem in Scottish society? Who are the people so troubled by it that they feel the need to form a cross-party Parliamentary group?

Halliday with a double foul throw in Europe.
Last time I witnessed such an action was another player of limited ability, a die hard bluenose with the name of Kirk Broadfoot.
That year we got to the final!
It is a sign!

roggy reacted to williamcarvel9 in That 2nd Half Performance
See last season just before the game v them at Ibrox. I was hearing that "we're back" and I wasn't convinced. We were way off it but the majority thought because we weren't far off the top that we were back and had others running scared.
Maybe I am getting carried away but we have the players now and a manager now, I firmly believe that we can be back challenging and hopefully leading to dominating again.
