PC for me, as is my habit, will wait until at least the first DLC has been released to allow for bug squashing and the first mods are released. As a Fallout veteran I have learned that mods are basically a requirement to get the best out of a Bethesda game

Absolutely in the play the strongest team camp for the obvious reasons of team building/cohesion and the rather uncomfortable fact that we are in no position to be sniffy about any major piece of silverware.

Given that it is a given that the SPFL will do the square root of fuck all when Them refuse to offer an allocation, despite the rules, then I can see more difficult days ahead for  the Away Loyal.
What is to stop Hearts refusing away allocations altogether to all teams citing overwhelming demand from their fans? I do not think that Sheepie would hesitate for a moment to refuse an allocation to our fans under pressure from their hateful fans. Whilst the clubs like Motherwell, St J, St M,Dundee, County  & Co. will still be eager to welcome the Blue Pound, a refusal by the League to come down on Them will open the door to Clubs refusing away fans on a whim.

Told this story before on this forum, but given the picture of the great man above it is worth repeating IMHO. Not long after he was sacked after his second term as manager, we played an away game at Fir Park, the rain was pishing down and I had given up on attempting to get under the middle terrace roof so took my place behind the goal on the open terrace. Standing beside me was one  Jock Wallace, complete with full on rain coat, being soaked to the skin with the rest of us. I plucked up the courage to speak to the great man and ask him why he was not in the directors box, not invited he said, but preferred to be standing with the Bears regardless.
Not invited to be part of the official Rangers party, disgraceful, but not surprising given the record of the Rangers hierarchy being totally out of touch with the mainstream Rangers support at that time.
If there was ever an option of renaming the stadium in honour of a past Rangers legend, the Jock Wallace Stadium would sound fine to me.

Please let us worry about that if and when. We have enough to worry about tonight, Servette have demonstrated that if nothing else, they are doggedly determined and we will have to work our socks off tonight for the desired result. It will be interesting to see if our players can motivate themselves for the entire ninety minutes after seemingly losing a bit of interest after an initial opening flurry in the last two games.
Will also be interesting to see the mindset of Beale, if he goes to get the goal that would give us much needed breathing space, or does he set up to try and prevent the early goal that the Swiss will be desperate for.

Should we crash and burn against the Swiss, then it is inevitable that some people will start asking very serious questions about MB, having made the mistake of allowing things to drag on with Gio well after it became obvious that it just was not working, then I would imagine that the Board will not want to make the same mistake again.
Beale got it wrong in every way yesterday with his team selection and tactics and he was obviously not helped either by a collectively brutal performance by the players, the only silver lining being that we cannot possibly be as bad as that again. (surely we can't, can we?)

Breeze block Boulevard. No expense spent. Many years ago when the Super Piggery was under construction I was informed by a work aquaintance working for the architects that Fergus McBunnet ordered every corner that could be cut, should be cut to keep build costs to the minimum. Allegedly the Piggery was given a build life, a guarantee of sorts, of only 75 years before major refurbishment and increasing maintenance costs would become unavoidable.
The above is of course hearsay, but having been in the dump on a number of occasions, and of course the well publicized design flaw that led to overcrowding and potential crushing, and given that The Bunnet was in it strictly to make a dime, then I am confident that some of the allegations made by my old colleague had more than a whiff of truth about them.
Given that the Piggery has already had a refurbishment courtesy of Glasgow City Council, I suppose that the Piggery Board are not too worried about the prospect of any future building maintenance costs, as their pals in George Square will come to the rescue with Council Tax payers cash.

OK I admit my ignorance with this video thing, what is it all about? Do they believe that if they post enough crackpot conspiracy theory videos on YouTube then the SFA & UEFA will act to ensure that no decision will ever be given against them again ever, and that Rangers will never again be awarded a penalty?

I repeat that I am only relating what I was told to me in a casual conversation 30 odd years ago so I am in no position to verify or prove as fact the opinion of my erstwhile colleague, however it seems almost certain given what we have seen and do know from those that worked on the dump, that The Piggery is a financial time bomb for that lot once the deficiencies in the design and build quality really do start to hit home.
The only thing that the Sty has on Ibrox is of course capacity, however bigger does not mean better despite claims to the contrary. It is a pity with the benefit of time that the Rangers board in the late 70's came to the conclusion that 36,000 seats with the 9000 standing enclosure would be sufficient to take us forward, however it must be remembered that average crowds at that time were much lower across the football world, so the 45,000 total figure must have seemed plenty at the time.
With any luck the much talked about reasonably significant capacity increase for the corners actually comes to pass at some time in the future, but that will be years down the road IMHO, as the money required to do a proper job will obviously run into double digit millions, money that we simply do not have at the moment.

Was about to say the same thing. Poor wee Kyogo has been felled by snipers hiding in the stands on a number of occasions since his arrival. Needless to say had Tom Miller cracked a similar line about the Japanese submarine, the outrage would have been nuclear, accusations of racism thrown around and demands for action to be taken about the comments made on the official club TV outlet.

There is supreme confidence among many  of the mutants that they are going to wipe the floor domestically, having got the idea into their heads that they are so far in front of us that we can be dismissed as a threat. If (a very big small word is if) our practically whole new team is able to gel quickly and hit the ground running as said above, then things could get very  interesting very quickly with that mhob and their relationship with Brenda and the Piggery Board.
We all saw how quickly the Car Park Mhob turned violent when it became obvious that Terry Munro was on his last legs, given the ill feeling still felt by many to Rodgers among them, especially the GB pricks, then it will not take much for the sharks to start flying again.
As you said though, it is up to us to do our business and let the rest take care of itself.
