imo there more than a couple in that dressing room who behind the scenes are saying & displaying way less than we expect. 
 

I just find it baffling that we are on for a treble,were favourites to win the league, and....the belief just dies with the finish line in site.
I cannot understand how enough people in the team - people who have had the discipline and drive to make it in professional sport - can collectively lose that drive. I cannot comprehend that.
What we've witnessed isn't even what I'd call "bottling it". It's something deeper and more rotten.

Benfica at Ibrox is the worst thing to happen to us this season. Once a team found away to hurt us everyone else followed. Our players then shat themselves. Doesn't help when you've got club legends questioning our set up throughout the game like ally was that night. 
Now that shouldn't bother a  strong minded group of players but these are anything but. One ounce of doubt put into these players minds they'd crumble and that's exactly what's happened.

There's more to this than the players failing under pressure. First time in 5 years we've failed to win in 3 consecutive games. Think about that mate. Even under a poor manager in Beale we never had such a bad spell.
Last night was not pressure, it was attitude and application. Players were walking about, no intensity, passing the ball around the back, slowing play down. It was like a pre season friendly.
I've not witnessed something like that especially when a treble is on the cards!

It genuinely seems to be bothering him. Maybe he's cut from a different cloth from those who lead this squad, and I respect him for calling it out, but this in absolute confirmation of everything we've all suspected. This squad do not have the mentality to win a title. Its not speculation anymore.

Refreshing honesty from sterling. It wont make him popular with certain individuals in that dressing room but who really gives a fuck about their feelings? It needed said. You can see why the manager cant say it but its good that some in the squad actually appear to care.

I get some fans being deflated after the drop off in the League but cups matter, we're in a dog fight with the tims.
We've won 118 major honours, they've won 116 major honours, if we win at least one of the last two trophies then we maintain a two honour lead, if we chuck it completely then it levels off at 118/118
Rangers should be all about winning trophies, that's what we've been about for 150 years, I know the last 12 has been dire but as an institution, that's what we've been all about and in 100 years time, when we're all dead and gone, that'll still be what we're all about, so it's our responsibility to keep pushing for better days, to respect the boys who kept us going in the 60s and 70s when the tims done 9IAR or the 80s when Aberdeen ruled the roost, Rangers fans still inspired the team to overcome the odds and win trophies in those eras, that's our job now, so boys in the future continue to have something to be proud of.
So aye, cups absolutely matter.
 
 

In recent years we have had Allan McGregor, Ryan Jack, Andy Halliday, Scott Arfield & Steven Davis at the club and we have still collapsed multiple times. 
It’s never brought up as an issue until we go on a bad run and then suddenly there’s a clamour for it among a small section of the support.

I didn't like what I heard on sky just then but a month ago people were bigging Clement up as some sort of managerial god....the truth is he hauled us back into a title race with a very average squad.....we all knew that not signing an out and out number nine was a massive gamble....a gamble that ultimately has failed, I would also point to the Hearts game that we won 5-0, our left side that day with Cortes & Ridvan was strong....but sure as christ our injury woes continued and we lost both players, it has been no surprise that the left hand side has been a shambles as we have tried numerous different combinations....I would give him some slack for this as he has constantly tried rotating the players hoping to find a solution.....the truth is it's fucked and he knows it.....I would be amazed if he perseveres with the abject failures next season 

Trying to figure out why we are trying to turn a 30 year old who’s played as a forward for most of his career and missed a full year of football to boot into a centre midfielder. 

I’ll buy that for a dollar. 

As much as I’d rather Sterling in midfield I would rather play him at LB than ever see Barisic again

A tiny wee part of (the entirety naive, desperately clinging on part) me sees where you’re coming from however it’s absolutely changed. The swing in the bookies odds validates that. They went from 6/5 to 4/9 over the course of Sunday.  Quite a shift in a two horse race. 

you aint kidding when i moved out to the east end i had to work with loads of them and had more than a few words to say when they mentioned wee lassies also got a shock just how open they'd say something incestuous
fuck got into a conversation with one about films ffs and he just mentioned he watched ghost that weekend with his maw and when it finished they where holding each other and gave each other 'a look'

For me as it stands if we win tonight we will be two wins away from possibly being top of the fenians even draw and it could be back to as you where.
likely? Who knows, Sunday was disgusting but attitude and application like against the fenians second half and I can’t see any team living with us outwith them.
Read lots of stuff on here in the last few days, some of it was exactly how I was feeling on Sunday after the match but after taking the day to calm down I’ve realised that it’s still possible however probably unlikely. 
 
whilst we can still do it (as it stands all hinging on what happens at the piggery then I won’t be conceding anything. It’s not staunch or fuck all it’s just the realisation that to be (if we win tonight) 1 point behind you can’t be conceding titles when you’ve still to play your only rival for the title in that period and both teams have to play the best sides in the league.

Agreed mate, it’s got to the point that if I’m in the city centre and it’s after 2pm I’ll walk to Ibrox before I get the subway, its fucking dreadful

It really is concerning that SPT allow the ongoing crazy and downright dangerous subway ordeal on match days to continue.
