I feel a bit lost myself. What with Walters death and a poor performance tonight, to go along with most of the season. You would have thought tonight they would have come out all guns blazing and put on a performance but nothing appears to fire them up. There’s never really any urgency, no quick counters and everything just is so predictable. It’s all just a bit meh and leaves you feeling scunnered. Players really need to wake up and realise that last season is done and this league needs winning again.

Take it in context though. A team that won the league by 25pts last season against a team in full rebuild, with a manager we all laughed at, is only 2 pts ahead after the first round of games. Add in a disastrous CL qualification effort and its clear why he is under pressure.

Actually feel for Sakala, he came here with a bit of a fanfare, comments from Gerrard about him being an exciting player and the fact we were linked with him for about six months before he actually arrived, perhaps raised expectations. He hasn't started too many games and when he has come onto the pitch its usually when we are struggling and looking to get back into a game or get a another to kill it off. That coupled with the fact that we play so slowly thru the midfield and lack player who can make a defence splitting pass, he doesn't  really get the opportunity to use his pace which is ultimately is his biggest asset.
