I’ve not problem with people in power disliking or hating us but it should never ever be part of any decision making in a professional capacity which is just criminal in my eyes.
I really hope the board are working on a hard hitting no nonsense statement, we need this to gain momentum as it’s scandalous.
The sooner the corrupt SNP fucks are out of power the better, again if you vote for SNP and support Rangers you need your head examined.

433 / 451 without possession really.
Gerrard has made a lot of noise about being organised and maintaining their shape and aggression when in control of the ball and when not.
It’ll either be 5-3-2 or 4-3-3 with the hardest working wide men who track back getting the nod. Middleton will cause them all sorts of issues late on in the game if it’s even by that point.

I Think going 433 at porkheid is suicidal. We have to control the midfield.
I was talking about the Ufa game.
whether you play 4-3-3 or 5-3-2 it’s still only 3 central midfielders since the key difference with a 5-3-2 t a 4-3-3 is sacrificing the wingers in order to have an extra centre back and centre forward and you compensate the loss of the wingers by making the fullbacks wingbacks.
Either way it’s 3 In the middle. Ideally it would have been Jack, Coulibaly and Arfield against the scum but it doesn’t look like Coulibaly is going to make it.

I see the BBC reported on Gerald Gavan the thug that tried to kill someone running them down with his motor in a cowardly attack that nearly killed the young girl that ended up with a broken neck.......wonder why they didn’t use this photo of the wee cunt
couldnt possibly think why they didn’t use this picture and instead just shows one where he was wearing non football colours.
Absolutely guarantee if the criminal had been a Rangers fan they have the research team digging to photos with the top on.

A message to sturgeon (and quite fittingly Salmond)

Great news for him and shows him (and others) that you can still get picked for your country at Rangers......provided you’re not a Scottish international

I think we have to go 4-3-3 with the tried and tested. May seem harsh to drop Lafferty after his double but I think we need Kent and Candeias supporting Morelos, play Jack, Arfield and Ejaria.
If we get the goal we need then we get Coulibaly some game time and rest anyone that’s run themselves into the ground.
Getting a goal in Russia is key to how easy we’ll make Sunday for ourselves as we already passed the opportunity of making it easier by only winning the home leg 1-0.

So two massive games coming up, negotiate Thursday's tie with Ufa and we're into the group stages of the Europa League which will bring in vital £££ and Sunday's tie with probably provide the yardstick to indicate how far we've come with Gerrard...This is a week where Gerrard will really need to earn his money to get team selection and tactics spot in if we're going to get anything from both games, with that in mind how would you line up for both games? Here's mine:
Vs Ufa
McGregor
Tavernier Goldson Katic Flanagan
McCrorie
Candieas Arfield Jack Ejaria
Lafferty
Vs Them
McGregor
Flanagan Glodson Katic Barisic
Jack
Tavernier Coulibaly Arfield Lafferty
Morelos
Thought I'd give Morelos a rest in the Ufa tie, good player to come on if we need a goal. Assuming Coulibaly is still recovering I've put McCrorie in the def mid role.
Against them I've pushed Tav into right midfield, hopefully we can get Tierney going backwards instead of walking past Candeias as he's done in past ties. Flanagan behind provides robust cover. Coulibaly comes back into midfield (no brainer) alongside Arfield and Jack. I put Lafferty on the left, this might be abit too attacking but Laff does put a shift in and is a threat. Don't think Ejaria or Kent are ready for an old firm yet, esp away - might be lost. Morelos comes back in after a midweek rest.
Thoughts ?

Yes him, get him in the team.
In all seriousness it's good to see him getting involved in the goals and hopefully it gives him the confidence to kick on.
I jest comparing him to Dalcio but it kinda has that feel to it, really hope I’m wrong. With lafferty in now and scoring two on his first start (this time) I’m struggling to see how he’ll get game time but it’s a long season so a few run outs and goals for the reserves will help a lot.

The squad we have isn’t capable of mounting a title challenge we need the Europa league money to free up some cash for another couple of quality additions
Absolutely this.
Had we beaten Ufa comfortably I'm sure we'd have bought another couple of permanent players, so if we get through I expect we'll see players come in as we absolutely need quality and depth to challenge for the title and put up a fight in Europe.
There is little to no money in the Europa League Qualifiers therefore getting this far and not getting to the groups will not do us much good.
Get the group stage bagged then use that money to push for the title and to get a chance at getting Champions League money.

Last night Ufa knew what they were doing disrupting the flow of the game and trying to get us into bother which was frustrating as hell (McGregor did the same to Maribor in the second leg) but I had mixed emotions of frustration/anger and amusement at the end of the game when their player went down "injured" where he couldn't even decide where to pretend the injury was (started at lower leg, then back of the knee then the hamstring )
Then the cunt makes the quickest recovery ever and tries to pick a fight with Goldson

Did nobody notice that we are still unbeaten this season.
Just don't get the doom and gloom after a European win.
It’s not doom and gloom from most.
I think you have to be able to see the good and bad from a game to learn what to keep doing and what to improve on and I can tell from Gerrards post match interview he wasn’t pleased with the performance overall and that’s good because it means we don’t just settle for a 1-0 win at home in Europe we look to see what we could do better.

Kent is getting better, his effort when he cut In was not that far off the mark.
Candeias lacks the ability to beat the fullback but his work rate is superb.
I think Middleton has one move but he does it very well.
The trouble we had tonight wad they crowded the box and got a number of blocks or deflections from crosses and cutbacks.
I don’t think a better quality winger would have helped that much tonight. I think a central midfielder who has the ability to beat a man and play the cutting passes is what we need (as well as Arfield getting some space to shoot as he has a decent shot on him).
Ejaria impressed tonight more than his other performances but I don’t see him being that creative midfielder.

Was fucking shocking tonight!! Two stone wall penalty’s not given! Don’t know how many times they fouled Morelos & never got booked, yet Lafferty was booked after 3 mins of being on the park!
And 5 mins later their sins first action was to take out Middleton with no attempt to get the ball and got away with it. Lafferty’s Foul looked bad but he watched the ball the whole time.
Referee should get transferred to Scottish football he’d fit right in here.....utter shite, inconsistent, probably never seen the rule book.
-
All I can say is if we are still unbeaten, still never been behind, still on course for the group stages in spite of such shite referees in numerous games then we really are onto something good on the park.
