Sick of people saying if we had done this and that. We are 4 games from the end of a season where we have massively underperformed. There’s a point where you have to realise that the reason why we come out worse off in these fine margins is because we aren’t good enough either in footballing ability or mental strength.

Needing him for his pressing and work rate next week definitely but thought he was really poor/indecisive on the ball.
Yeah, there’s no doubting his effort and sometimes that’s what you need but in the final third he looked a little lost, the ball to Cummings over windass sticks in my mind.
In fairness though apart from Murphy I think we look really dodgy when we break. You watch teams do it against us and you’re certain they’re going to score but when we have a break you keep thinking how are we going to fuck it up (look at Cummings chance in the second half for 3-1 as an example)

Not watching it, no interest in what he has to say. Fuck him.
Precisely this.
I only want to hear him resign or be sacked. I’m done with mini-Warburton

it was a better performance from him but still not as good as I had expected which is largely down to being incorrectly utilised by clueless murty. He’d offer so much more than Windass in the number 10 role if murty won’t change the formation.
just simply cannot wait to get a manager in who knows what they are doing with the players we have.

Candeias called the whole on field team with him and made a beeline for Halliday, not the bench, not the manager.
Murty is only a manager as far as his contract states, commands zero respect from the players and clueless subs and tactics only compound that.

Is Bruno injured ? If not WTF is Murty doing, he tells us he is learning from last week
Learning is just in his vocabulary as it was for his mentor, Warburton, but just like him he only says it and never does it. Sickened he’s still in charge.
On a lighter note I wonder if docherty and Morelos will be sitting next to each other on the bench

Any appointment is a gamble to be honest.
Its just a case of which is the best gamble of risk vs reward.
Just want it to move on from murty as I’m finding it hard to look forward to the game tomorrow as a result.

So when is kirkwood getting the first team manager’s position then?

Some of the posts on here.....fuck me what have you been having with your cornflakes?
Remember Alex McLeish was odds on for us before then he came out and said its so far off the mark.
I rarely go with bookies odds unless there are sources that have come out prior to the odds dropping, for Neil I haven't seen any (please don't be any).

Murty will be like a rabbit in the headlights. I suspect it'll be sounbites like 'we've trained well', 'good spirit amongst the squad', etc. All of it will be bullshit.
You clearly aren’t well versed in Murty-isms.
We have to get the squad believing again. The fans have to be patient and keep believing...

Any chance we can get a banner for each stand? Each with its own message targeting the board. No idea of the logistics and cost involved in doing this but i’d definitely pitch in. Enough is enough.
-
This is what we need.
A unified response, in particular on Sunday live on Sky Sports, to really hammer home we aren’t happy.
We were good at making songs up for players perhaps we can do one for the board.
If we can do something that every bear in attendance can contribute to it stands a better chance and getting the various supporters groups and representations to buy into it will really hit home harder.

How about a card display against the board?
just keep the cards held aloft for the entire match and don’t watch a second of the game.
It would certainly get media attention as I can’t think of any time something like that has been done before.
-
Is anyone hoping Douglas Park will take on what many hoped King would do i.e. day to day running of the club?
-
Imagine complete silence at kick off as if it were a minutes silence. Would really hammer home we’ve had enough.

I thought you were going to say should we appoint him as manager again

Still believe with a proper manager we can more out of that squad
Got to say I’m the same as you.
I do believe we need an actual leader on the park though so getting someone that can actual motivate the players around them and when the chips are down they are the ones lifting everyone else up.
This is what Dorans, Alves, Miller, Wallace, kranjcar as the 5 captains (and more recently Martin) were meant to do but they have done nothing of the sort.
Getting a solid spine to the team next year with a new manager capable of getting the best out of the rest is what we need.

The players will no doubt have a day off today.
Don't think there is a sand dune big enough to send these fuckers up and down

As with Warburton and McCoist Murty very much falls into the "Fit the players into the formation" rather than "Pick a formation that suits the players".
We need a manager that actually knows the players he has and how to utilise them.
Dorrans has come back from a pretty serious injury so from the fitness perspective I'm hoping thats why rather than his legs have gone.

The biggest problem in keeping Murty is that his presence is now going to have a negative affect.
Pedro got the sack after we drew at home with Killie because he had lost the dressing room.
Murty has lost the dressing room so whether there are 5 games or 5 months left he can't be left in charge.
We have Jimmy Nicholl who has plenty of experience as a manager so for 5 games let him work with the squad (he's been around since January and knows the squad anyway) and clearly if the reports are true about him arguing with Murty then it may stand to reason that the players may actually side with him anyway.
I think getting a new manager in now is going to give him a stupidly hard task and expectations will be unrealistic.
I'd prefer Nicholl to take the reigns until season end with an announcement of a new manager made in the next week.
Lets remember one thing we have a game against the scum in a couple of weeks and if Murty is still in charge and we get another doing the board have let this happen and instead of half the fans pointing the finger at the board it will be all of us and the board will have nowhere to hide. The other thing to consider is the season ticket sales which if Murty is left in charge to season end without any announcement of a new manager then those ticket sales will fall.
-
Stewart Robertson has to be sacked long with murty.
If we could attract buyers I’d hound the board out too. There’s only so long you can dine out of the we got Charles green et al out of the club and that period ended about 18 months ago.

Substitutions Again

Murty can’t change a game properly with these subs, always like for like and always seems to be at least one person in the substitution that’s not right - either the person going off or going on.
Everyone could see windass needed to come off and Halliday was a baffling choice. MOH brought on with just over a minute left just boggles the mind.
