Only thing I would say is that Gerrard got a tune out of these players last year but not this year, Gio has come in and is experiencing the same thing.
It could be both managers aren't that great or its the common denominator.....the players.

Whether you rate Sakala or not sometimes just running at the back line and hitting the byeline to get a ball across the danger area in the box between keeper and defenders is all you need to unsettle the opposition and ask questions of them.
