Someone is seriously going to have to answer the question of why a Man who has achieved FUCK ALL in Football is allowed to offer his opinion on a national broadcast about a game in which he's done the grand total of fuck all.

Our 3 goalscorers tonight cost the Club the grand total of £300,000.
I think back to 2008 and the penalties in Florence the elation I felt at the moment Novo fired in the winner but that pales in comparison to tonight's achievement.
We're witnessing something special here.

How are we all feeling after that masterclass display of top flight European Football??
That my friends is how you play in Europe.
Tell all the bheasts you know
We're going to Seville and they're no.

The accolades will come from far and wide and they are testimony to the high esteem that Jimmy Bell was held.
A Man who gave the full measure of devotion to the Football Club we all love and he will be sorely missed around Ibrox.
Sincere and heartfelt condolences to Jimmy's immediate Family and to everyone in the Rangers Family.

The linesmen are bigger cheats than the refs in my opinion and for the most part, they slide under the radar. It is a sneaky way of cheating. If you can't get this call right, then it is clearly cheating.
I've been saying the same about linesmen for a while now bn.
Are Rangers doing something about it behind the scenes?
Not to me they're not and they should be although I do find it ironic that the incompetent bastard known as Clancy hasn't reffed one of our games since his ridiculous refereeing performance up at Pittodrie.
Something has to be done about refereeing standards absolutely but imo this VAR will be a get out of jail card for linesmen who are simply far worse than referees and who clearly should never be employed as linesmen ever again.
There is , imo , a serious problem in Scottish Football that is bordering on corruption on a massive scale.
This isn't paranoia , If you are serious about cleaning up the game and getting decisions right and have an issue with officiating there is no better place to start than with linesmen who run up the tunnel after the final whistle before they have to be confronted by Managers , see Mulvaney and Connor for this , due to their incompetency and , dare I say it , blatant cheating.
There is a simple reason Scottish officials are never asked to officiate European games right now.
They are utter mince at their job and yet the silence and lack of evidence shown on TV re replays that would show their incompetency is deafening.

No time for Pickford but credit where it's due as he won that game for Everton today with those saves he made.

That would be us m8.
The amount of points we've thrown away this season from winning positions is the issue.
We drew 1-1 with Motherwell at home early in the season when they had one shot on goal and scored while we had over 20, same against Hearts at home with McGregor gifting them an injury time goal but we should have been four goals up before then, drawing at home to a terrible Aberdeen team, 2-0 up at home to Motherwell only to lose 2 goals and draw 2-2, the game against Ross County and an injury time equalizer and gifting 5 points to an awful Dundee Utd. side.
There's your League Title right there.

Just seen our pass success rate was only 67% last night. We've got to be doing much better than that at this level.
We defended well for large parts of the match.. But they still had chances to punish us. The good thing is we know that we can play a whole lot better next week.. Whilst I'm not sure Leipzig have many more levels in them. l
It's all to play for.. And it could be a cracker.
Agree re the passing but the pace at which they shut down any chance of an out pass from defence along with the lack of movement from our front two in the first half had a lot to do with that.
Next game their best central defensive pairing will be back due to them being suspended for last night and also their best midfield player will be back too. That will make scoring even tougher.
It will be a big ask from us and while we need to show patience getting the first goal is an absolute must because if they get it then it's over imo as they'll pick us apart when we then have to open up.
We'll see what happens though and who gets the breaks and who steps up to get the goals we'll need.

Deflate the player mate? If Scott Wright didn’t know himself he was having a shocker there’s no hope. Advocaat would’ve had him hooked in 20 mins. Fuck the sentiment, get the job done. He was hardly putting an effort in.
Inside the first 30 mins. he ran or passed the ball out of play twice and gave away possession 4 times and in a game of this magnitude you simply can't do that.
That being said Wright was never going to cost us that game but paying the way he did he wasn't going to win it for us either.
-
An excellent team effort there and we got beat by a shot that if he tried it any other time it sails over the bar but credit where it's due
My big concern for the return game at Ibrox is where are the goals going to come from?
Outside of the injuries we are carrying the lack options up front in this Rangers team leaves a lot to be desired and we can only hope that Roofe is available for the game at Ibrox because Sakala and Wright are nowhere near what is required.

While I understand the predicament that Everton are in re a relegation battle the diving and feigning injury is off the scale and frankly embarrassing and everything that is wrong with modern day Football.
The pressure and money involved in the game nowadays means that this is what we're subjected to and it's pathetic to watch and to listen to the likes of a twat like Michael Owen ok it is pathetic.
Just my opinion.

wouldn’t wish cancer on any cunt.
Same here m8.
My old Man was told by his doctor he had a bladder infection and when that never cleared up was taken into Hospital for tests. After the tests were done my dad and Mother were taken into a room by the Doctor in the Hospital who told him your doctor said you have a bladder infection , I'm telling you you don't , you have cancer and there's nothing we can do for you.
6 weeks later he was gone.
That was 4 years ago and I still miss him.

They will drop points against Ross county imo…
we just need to focus on ourselves though. Win one game at a time and see where that takes us.
With their customary 10 mins added time and Clancy as the Referee?
I'd love to see it though.

scott wright is rubbish how gvb put him on as a sub i will never know even if he does beat a man his cross always hits the first defender he will never be good enough for Rangers
Probably put him on for his pace and that alone but the same thing could be said of Sakala.

He played well when he came on yesterday.
Had a great career with us (twice) and wish him well when he leaves in the summer.
He's a Rolls Royce of a midfield player and should have a part to play for us in the remainder of the season.
He's always available to take the pressure off his team mates and that stuck out like a sore thumb yesterday.
-
I've no idea if Scott Wright will ever make it at Rangers as he seems to lack the confidence that could take him to the next level but his part in their goal yesterday was poor for me.
He's in a two man wall but he's got his back to the ball looking at McLaughlin as the free kick is taken which forces the two men to go challenge McGregor and in turn leaves Taylor wide open for the shot.
You never turn your back to the ball at a free kick.
Little things like that change games but the team responded well to pull out the win.
Europa League Final Ticket.
