    The National Police has arrested five fans of the German Eintracht Frankfurt for riots and attacks on fans of the Scottish Glasgow Rangers in a massive fight that took place at midnight on Monday in front of the Cathedral of Seville, city that hosts this Wednesday the final of the Europa League between both teams.

    The events, as reported by the Police in a statement, took place when a group of 200 Eintracht fans assaulted Rangers fans in the area surrounding the Cathedral and police officers who were in the Plaza de San Francisco, about 100 meters away, intervened to end the fight.

    Upon noticing the rapid arrival of the National Police Units, the German fans fled towards Paseo Colón, parallel to the Guadalquivir River, and beat the Glasgow Rangers supporters on the run and confronted the police officers who were trying to prevent the attack on the Scottish supporters.

    At this time, the German fans began to throw glass, flares and tables at the police officers and, when they reached about 100 meters from the bars located on paseo de Colón with Adriano Street, the police had arranged containment lines and managed to neutralize the incident in this way, firing some salvos.

    The place of these events is the same in which there was a confrontation between fans of Eintracht and English West Ham last March, when these teams faced respectively Real Betis and Sevilla in the knockout stages of the Europa League. As a result of these incidents there are no serious injuries, except for a Scottish follower with a bruise on his head.

    My Son's wife is due any day/minute now and if she goes tomorrow i'll be bubblin like a big wean should we win and the Grandkid is born on the same day.

    Kheevins once famously boasted about having 4 priests at his daughters wedding , one of them being his brother who has just been caught calling Rangers fans H*** on his twitter account , hence the nickname 4 priests shug. He has already come out live on radio and declared he is a celtic fan as he was called out by a Rangers fan live on air.

    He has no qualms about calling the idiots out , as it should be for all , because they are supposed to be neutral. My issue with that is they're not as they let their guard down from time to time.

    The best part of Brians call was Andy Halliday hit him with the Leverkusen beating celtic. It was the ultimate slap down and his "We're no talkin about seltic Andy" was hilarious.

    We've been steadily progressing in European Football for the last 4 years. That's a massive positive.

    They've stagnated in European Football for the last 4 years and beyond. For them that's a massive negative.

    They've won the League on the back of us throwing it away due poor play at key times during games. It's Football and that happens.

    Should we win this Europa Cup Final , and I see no reason why we won't , the knock on effect will crush any memory we have of losing the League to a poor bheast team with the Financial gains being potentially than they'll make due to this seasons European run and the TV money that goes with it.

    Imo there's too much emphasis being put on the cash at the end of the rainbow next season. Win this Europa and the good name of Rangers FC will be back where it belongs and that is money in the bank.
