We've still got a long way to go but by fuck having the diamond of McGregor, Goldson and Katic doesn't half breed confidence. It's what we've been crying out for, for years. It's been so obvious. Build from the back, ensure you have a strong spine and suddenly look at the difference it makes. So far this season we have been solid and that's despite losing Morelos, McCrorie, Jack, Barasic, Flanagan, Arfield, Coulibaly, Dorrans, Rossiter etc for a number of games through sending offs, injuries and being cup tied. Once our squad is fully fit and we can add one or two more we have a heck of a chance.
We might not win every game this season but with our back line and midfield, IMO we won't concede many. We need a little more up top but there's still time left in the window. I'm now going into games really fancying us like I used to. I don't fear us getting beat and even under a bit of pressure I EXPECT us to see it through, just like we were famous for. We're setting up and playing smart, fighting for each other and doing everything very professionally. Long may it continue..........

You can tell he’s intelligent and knows football inside out, he’s experienced everything in the game and his reputation as a player will ensure the players here today want to listen and learn from him. He’s clearly identified our weaknesses and has spent time looking at the players to improve us and it’s playing off with the results and clean sheets.
Glad he said the red was deserved, it strengthens his position last week and shows he not just someone who’s going to moan about refs week in week out, when he does call out the biased and incompetent refs people are going to listen. 
In short I have no doubt he knows exactly what he’s doing in every situation, we’re in good hands im sure of that!

That would be more my argument, that opposition players are allowed a handful of clear fouls without being spoken to whereas our players invariably get booked the first chance the referee gets. 
It also seems to me that the vast majority of 50-50 challenges or decisions automatically go against us.
