    We wanted Champions league football, but have come into it with a team weaker than what played in the europa, this was always going to happen.

    The manager can do all the tactical work and game preparation, but the players need fight and desire before any of that counts.
    My one question to Gio AND his backroom team would be, why is 3/4 of a brand new defence sitting on the bench and medical table!!

    In terms of quality there's not much between the two teams here. Huge difference is that they're switched on at all times, especially immediately after set pieces and we're still sleeping. Not throwing in the towel as we've created chances but obviously need to get the next one.
