We desperately need a strong fit centre half to play with goldson who's been more consistent than the rest put together, the rest are either constantly injured or appear they can't be arsed or just not good enough, a tough tackling midfielder that has pace, I think there is a obvious lack of pace in the middle of the park and there has been for ages.

He needs to rip the squad apart over the next 2 windows. A continuation and new deals for Jack, Morelos, Kent, Davis, Arfield etc will mean he’ll struggle like fuck and that goblin Wilson still continues to hold too much power.

My main concern is that Wilson wants somebody to be a “head coach” type rather than a “manager” so he can carry on his real life game of Football Manager almost unchecked.
Beale is clearly a good coach, there isn’t anybody who’s said a bad word about him in that regard, but you have to be more than that at a club like ours. You have to be the final say in all footballing related decisions, and probably other non footballing decisions too. You have to be a manager as much as you are a good coach and that, along with his lack of experience as a number one in his own right, is where my concerns lie because we are crying out for strong leadership from a manager type.
Every man and his dog knows Beale is coming now, and I want him to do well because even though I haven’t liked his conduct in recent weeks I like Beale and he’s clearly passionate about the club, but I have concerns that Wilson has pushed this to protect his own interests and position rather than doing it because it’s best for Rangers.
Only time will tell.
