People can moan about Tav and continue to act like he's the reason for anything bad that happens to us. And yes he was shite yesterday along with the other 15 players that played yesterday
The fact is in the last 4-6 weeks he's been our outstanding performer and if it wasnt for his contributions we wouldnt be 4 points ahead in the league.
In the last 7 games he's scored 2 goals and had 6 assists. If he's not leading by example I'm not seeing anyone else that is!

Gio has his work cut out in sorting out a defence where they don't/can't? defend and give up apparently.

Whilst today's performance was utterly appalling, particularly in defence, we have other serious issues at the Club. When players are injured or having an off day or a poor run of form the standard procedure is to bring in someone else. Tavernier has been pretty woeful this season but Patterson still sits on the bench. With Helander injured yet again and Katic put on loan because Gerrard used him as a scapegoat when Goldson mucked up, the back-up of Balogun was OK for the odd game but we signed Simpson who is so bad he doesn't even get on the bench. When Goldson has a howler he doesn't get dropped because the alternative is either Simpson or Bassey. It speaks volumes that Bassey is considered a better option than Simpson at CB despite Bassey being crap. We have Bacuna and Lundstram our acclaimed summer signings neither of whom were selected today nor were they even considered as replacements for the under-performing first choices. Sakala and Hagi came on and although we huffed and puffed in possession they made next to no impact. Kent was ineffective for his hour on the park. Then we have the fans' current favourite scapegoat , Morelos, who didn't play well today (who did?) but I can't think of a decent chance he got from his team mates. I've read the posts where he should be dropped / sold but who do we have to take his place?
One person at Ibrox who seriously worries me is our DoF Ross Wilson. His transfer dealings to date have been very disappointing.

Some of our fans go on and on about loyalty and commitment to Rangers and act like a little bitch when people leave us/don’t sign new contracts/don’t work out for us etc… giving absolutely horrendous abuse directed towards individuals for it.
Yet when someone who has stayed with us stepped up during a mess of a time, who whilst never being anywhere near good enough still tried his best for the club finally does leave he receives disgusting needless abuse. They then howl to the moon when people (like Joe Worrall) comment on it.
Its embarrassing you demand loyalty and respect but think that’s a one way street and give none back.
Murty’s leaving it’s probably no great loss but how about stop acting like a fucking Ned, thank him for his service (if you can’t manage that just ignore it) and move on.

Tierney was pre-covid, Ajer they only got that fee because EPL sides are looking for the next VVD.
Covid has added a bucketload of debt to most teams accounts which is going to take years to shift, even for some EPL sides. Transfer fees are going to be deflated for some time now.
There’s a fine line between getting the best fees for players, or letting them edge too near the end of their deals and losing them for nothing. Goldson is a classic example of someone we should have sold for £6-7million in summer (even if that’s below his real value), as we’re now set to lose him for free and he’s also been crap.
