Anyway, from the first couple of games I saw Lowry I said he deserved more opportunities, plenty in the den said it would have been madness to play him in big games as he wasn't ready.....I was fortunate enough to see Durranty & D Ferguson break through as kids, yes that Rangers side was poor but they had all the ability, Lowry is in that bracket for me, on Sunday when Ramsey went down the first thing I said was get Lowry on...what do we do, bring Scott Wright on, it's frustrating as fuck as that young lad is fearless and would certainly have taken the game to the vermin with a better end product, we need to be building a team round this kid, hopefully this message is getting relayed to the lad when we are trying to tie him up for longer

Do we know how Katic is doing these days?
I know there are some on here who really dislike him but I’d rather at least give him a chance to see how he’s developed. Still relatively young for a CB.
Souttar, Katic, Balogun, King plus two others needed. Lundstram and Bassey there too depending on availability and formation.

Read something the other day saying Katic has really found his feet and done well after a shaky start. I think Gerrard held Katic back tbh. Not saying he should be number one pick but still could be good backup. He's probably the most dominant defender we have in the air.
