I genuinely don't see why people are giving Beale so much grief. Bar the substitution stuff in the final. That had to happen after 15-20 mins.

Sands is poor and barely played, Souttar has (unsurprisingly) been injured as have Ridvan and Lawrence. Colak and Matondo have been injured most of the time too
I suppose the great news is that Gio signed two absolute world superstars in Davies and Tillman who have won 12/13 and were a late equaliser short of a perfect record all on their own and despite being lumbered with 9 diddies not contributing

I agree with all of that, but we are also in the midst of changing the squad. Tillman, Cantwell & Raskin are all young and starters now, which means Jack, Arfield, Davis & Lundstram will be phased out. Expect more younger recruits to come in the summer.

When we start playing a settled team over a few consecutive games, we are going to batter teams. There is too much firepower in the team now. I'm convinced of it.
