McGregor has a terible attitude towards the working class man on the street, thats his problem.

dont mean to be cheeky here but how do you know?

Do you frequent the establishments that he socialises in?

I happen to frequent such places of entertainment, and Ive seen him in action. Regardless of who he is, he is treated like any other human being, if you cannot behave amongst adults when alcohol is involved, regardless of what city your in or what you do for a living, then your gonna get a slap at some point.

Im sure his missus will no doubt be sticking by every penny of his wage... oops, better make that every inch of her man.

For the sake of the good name of Rangers football club, I hope he's gone soon.

Awful what has happened but Mcgregor does put himself in these situations too much, feel his old man summed it up when he asked walter to ban him from going out as he doesn't have the common sense himself to stop it.

The talk of getn rid of him is insane honestly.

he went for a drink maybe the people who he hangs around with dont help or the headlines in the papers etc

The record fuck me what a joke of a paper that is.

Totally agree if it was a Celtic player it would have been a sectarian attack no doubt.

I have respect for McGregor as a player, but lost all respect for him as a man, when he could not stand for a minutes not stand for a minutes silence for a former Rangers great. I should say along with his pal Boyd, and thats when i lost respect for both players as men.

I have respect for McGgregor as a player, but as i posted a few years ago on this board, i lost all respect for him as a man. When he could not stand for a minutes silence along with Boyd, for a Rangers great was the end for me.

Indeed minstral.

I prefer to read about Rangers players on the back page.

I met him once in Players Lounge and he was brand new. He was nice with kids even when they interrupted him etc. When we were leaving my son went up to him to say goodbye and then told him that he (my son) was going to be the next Rangers goalie... and McGregor had a bit of a laugh at this. I was bemused/amused at son because he plays in midfield never in goals! Anyway, I just wanted to give a "positive" McGregor story to balance out the more negative posts I have read on this thread.

Anyone else heard that McGregor is kicking around with that fanny of a millionaire the chinese scot that was in Big Brother and ran after 2 days - was Carly's boyfriend - boasted he went around with 10k all the time and had homies all around him ? He threatened a student with his mafia homies when he was in there too - surely Mac has more sense than to go about with that knob and he is a major knob - anyone know who I mean and know if this is 100 % true ?

Too many people on here with a 'that serves him right' attitude.

Sounds like people are condoning an attack on a Rangers player.

Are you all on the right board? doh

I was just reading through the thread thinking the same thing!

People saying "thats what you get for going into town"?!

I don't understand some people...

this thread is bollox, it oozes taig sympathisers

Certainly does, handwringers loyal out in force on this one. NO ONE DESERVES A KICKING LIKE THAT! Anyone in the press used the term sectarian as yet? Not from what I have seen.

One witness to the attack said: “He was headbutted in the eye. It was a really vicious attack. His face was a mess. His eye was completely closed.”

His friends are believed to have found the goalie lying in a nearby lane after the beating, covered in blood. After receiving hospital treatment and x-ray checks, he was allowed home.

Animals!! I hate how the Club never come out and say whats going down

I dont see any post that says Shagger deserves a kicking, no Rangers fan would wish that. But you would have thought that with a massive game coming up he would have kept away from potential trouble spots and not be walking around pished out of his head.
